According to information from the Genshin Impact beta, both Alice and Nicole will finally make an in-game appearance with their playable models in Version 6.2. The Hexenzirkel in Genshin Impact is arguably one of the most powerful factions in Teyvat, and while they've largely been relegated to summer events in the past, the Song of the Welkin Moon promises to nudge its members into the spotlight. Octavia was recently introduced in the Miliastra Wonderland cinematic, while Nicole and Alice featured in the trailers leading up to Nod-Krai.
While it remains to be seen if other Hexenzirkel characters will feature over the course of Nod-Krai, both Nicole and Alice are expected to become playable in the first half of 2026. Rumors point towards Nicole being a 5-Star Cryo Catalyst and Alice being a 5-Star Pyro Catalyst, but these should be taken with a grain of salt until their playable data is uploaded to the beta servers. As of Version 6.2, the ID list for upcoming Genshin Impact characters only goes up to Marionette (Sandrone).
Genshin Impact Leak Teases Durin's Gameplay
The newest leaks from Genshin Impact are providing some early information about how rumored character Durin will play following his release.
Genshin Impact Players May Meet Both Alice and Nicole in Version 6.2
As explained by Uncle LC, Alice and Nicole will have introduction cards in Version 6.2, implying that both characters will show up in their playable models during the patch. Introduction cards have thus far been restricted to four types of characters: the Fatui Harbingers, the Hexenzirkel, the Four Sinners, and the Four Shades. Curiously, Rhinedottir fits three of the four categories, but it may be some time until she makes an in-game appearance. Alice in Genshin Impact has been teased for a long time, and assuming the story doesn't undergo any major changes during the beta, players can expect to see her in Version 6.2.
Though not much is known about her gameplay, Alice may end up synergizing with several Mondstadt characters, including her daughter Klee. Version 6.2 is expected to introduce the Hexenzirkel as a special tag for certain characters from Mondstadt: Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Fischl, Razor, and Sucrose. This tag allows Hexenzirkel characters to activate a unique passive talent, including upgraded Constellations, if they are in a team with at least one other Hexenzirkel character. While it is currently used as a way to buff older characters in Genshin Impact, the tag's name implies that at least Varka, Nicole, and Alice will be a part of it.
As such, it may be fair to assume that Durin in Genshin Impact will be a valuable support option for any future Hexerzirkel hypercarry. Durin is slated to feature during the first half of Version 6.2 alongside Venti, Xilonen, or Varesa, but many players are currently lukewarm about his ability kit due a string of nerfs. Version 6.2 is set to launch on December 3, 2025.
