Varuna Gatha is chapter 3 of the Aranyaka in Genshin Impact. This quest revolves around the Varuna Contraption of Apam Woods. This lush area is filled with large trees, fungi, and rather unpredictable weather. One minute it will rain, then afterward, it will be sunny.

After helping the Aranara in the Varuna Gatha quest line, Genshin Impact Travelers will get to freely change the weather in the area. It can be sunny, rainy, or a mix of the two. The weather will have an impact on the area, though, so make sure to use the device accordingly. However, fixing the Varuna Contraption is not the end of the Varuna Gatha quest line in Genshin Impact. Its primary quest is not too confusing, but obtaining a check mark for the Varuna Gatha chapter involves plenty of quests and some daily reset. Therefore, it's easy to get lost when trying to finish this particular chapter. Fortunately, in exchange for all the troubles, players will gain a large sum of rewards. This article is updated to include each and total reward players can expect from completing the Varuna Gatha quest line of Genshin Impact.

How To Start Varuna Gatha (Chapter 3 Of The Aranyaka) In Genshin Impact

To start the Varuna Gatha quest line in Genshin Impact, players must look for the Aranara in Apam Woods. Head to the marked spot on the map to trigger the Varuna Gatha quest line. In this quest, players need to help the Aranara turn some Leaves toward the Branches. The tasks are mostly easy, so just follow the quest navigation.

There are a total of four sub-quests to finish the primary mission of Varuna Gatha in Genshin Impact:

Memory of Stone
Irate Iron Chunk
Slumbering Roots
A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land

Progressing through this story is crucial if players wish to unlock the Coordinates of Sun and Rain domain in Genshin Impact.

How To Finish Varuna Gatha (Chapter 3 Of The Aranyaka) In Genshin Impact

After fixing the Varuna Contraption, Genshin Impact Travelers can trigger the Sprouting Seedling quest by finding Aranakula and Arakara in a Dream Nursery in Dream Vanarana. Here, Travelers can plant the Vasmtri they harvested from the nurseries spread throughout Sumeru. To go to Dream Vanarana, go find the Silapna (A rock with a swirl pattern) and play the Vintage Lyre near it.

There are a total of 12 Vasmtri that need to be planted. Once all 12 Vasmtri are planted, players need to wait until the next reset for them to grow.

The next part of this chapter can only be triggered once players got the Bija and helped Rana.

After all the Vasmtri turn into Viparyas, The Viparyas of Vanarana quest will begin. Go back to the Dream Nursery, and talk to the Aranara. This will trigger a small scene where the creature gifts players a piece of Viparyas furniture.

Now, go find the Silapna and transport to the Real Vanarana. Return to the nursery to find a heaven of Sweet Flower; while the Dream Vanarana hosts Viparyas, the Real Vanarana hosts Sweet Flowers.

Upon opening the Aranyaka, the book will say that perhaps a certain someone would like to come have a look?. The Genshin Impact Traveler must find this certain someone, and they’re well hidden deep in a cave.

Go to the marked spot south of the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss. Behind an Eremite camp, there’s a small opening on the ground, leading to a cave. Clear the Withering in this cave and play the Vintage Lyre in front of the Claustroflora (purple flower) to reveal a hidden chamber. Inside is a little girl called Varsha.

Speak to Varsha and persuade her to go check out the Sweet Flower garden. This will trigger the Giving Flowers quest. After she’s convinced to go, return to the garden in Real Vanarana and talk to her once again.
