Many ruins can be seen all over the desert area in Genshin Impact's Sumeru. They are known as the remains left by King Deshret, the Scarlet King that once ruled the desert and its people. The deity passed away a long time ago, and the desert folks have been suffering ever since.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the region, the people of the Dendro Archon thrive in a lush jungle. This contrast, along with the sages’ tendency to reject the desert people from entering Akademiya, creates long-lasting hate and rivalry. In a Genshin Impact quest called the Golden Slumber, players will get to enter one of these ruins, and they’ll even try to open the coffin of the Scarlet King in Genshin Impact.
How To Try To Open The Coffin In Genshin Impact
To open the coffin in The Secret Of Al-Ahmar Quest in Genshin Impact, players need to release four Primal Embers and follow them to their respective Primal Torches.
After the prompt to open the coffin appears, Genshin Impact players will have the choice to enter either the left or the right door. Jebrael will be the landmark for the left door, while Jeht and Benben will be the marker for the other side.
This guide will direct players to the Primal Embers on the left door first.
Left Door - First and Second Primal Ember To Open The Coffin In Genshin Impact
Upon entering the left door, players will immediately face two options; the passage to the left and the right. Take the left turn for the first Primal Ember location.
After entering the left chamber, take another left up the stairs, then look up. There should be a Dendroculus and a Four-Leaf Sigil above it. Follow the Sigil to locate the first Primal Ember. Next, return to the start, and this time, take the right turn.
Walk along the hall, and soon enough, players will find two routes; one straight ahead and the other going right. Turn right for the second Primal Ember location.
Now, go to the corner where there’s a fan that creates an upward current. Wait for the wind to appear and glide up. Follow the chamber above to reach the second Primal Ember.
Right Door - Third and Fourth Primal Ember To Open The Coffin In Genshin Impact
Once the first two Primal Embers return to their Primal Torches, it’s time to go to the door on the right.
Just like before, players will also find a passage to the left and right. Turn right first.
Straight ahead, there should be another ruin mechanism that continuously spawns harmful projectiles. Before reaching this mechanism, there will be an opening to the right.
Look up, and just like the first Primal Ember, players also have to follow a Four-Leaf Sigil to reach the third Primal Ember.
Return to the starting point, and this time, turn left. Follow the hall, and eventually, players should see a Seelie in the distance. Approach the Seelie and follow it. The blue creature will lead players to the fourth and final Primal Ember.
After all four Primal Embers have returned to their Primal Torches, the coffin will open, revealing something that no one expects.
