Genshin Impact's 5.0 update introduced Natlan, the land of dragon creatures called Saurians that adapted to live besides humanity. These adorable creatures are found in all corners of Natlan, but unfortunately, not all of them are friendly towards the travelers. Fortunately, HoYoverse knew the fans would love to have Saurians as a companion, just like Paimon.
As you enter Natlan, you will come across spectral golden pillars on the way to the Children of Echoes tribe. You can reach this place by going east from the first teleport point you unlock in Natlan. Going close to these ruins will teleport you to a strange place and trigger the Lost in the Woods quest. This quest is part of a bigger quest chain called the Between Pledge and Forgettance.
While exploring Tequemecan Valley in Natlan, you can also discover a hidden Rest Area and earn the 'This is a Good Place to Camp?' Achievement. Follow this guide to learn the location of the Rest Area in Natlan.

Where is The Rest Area In Natlan?
To get to the Rest Area in Natlan, you first have to get your own Saurian companion by doing the Lost in the Woods quest. This quest begins by interacting with the spectral ruin west of the first teleporter point you unlock in Natlan. On interaction, you will be teleported to an unknown area and find a Saurian being attacked by Rift Hounds. After defeating the Rift Hounds, progress the Lost in the Woods quest further to get a cute Saurian companion and give it a name.
After you have received your own Saurian companion, you can begin the journey to The Rest Area in Natlan. The Rest Area is located in a river west of Tepeacac Rise in Tequemecan Valley of Natlan. To reach it, you can travel to the Ancient Tower domain (Natlan weapon ascension material domain) and head toward the river on the east, as shown in the map above.
Down in the mouth of the river, you will find another set of spectral golden pillars with a glowing sign in front of them. This is the Rest Area entrance. Go close to them and select the Touch option to get teleported to the Rest Area.
As soon as you enter the Rest area, you will earn the 'Maybe This is a Good Place to Camp?' Achievement in Genshin Impact. You will notice that this is the same place where you first found your adorable Saurian companion.
Entering the Rest Area and talking to your Saurian companion will unlock the Gifts and Gifts in Return quest, which is one of the many Saurian pet quests. You can progress this quest to learn more about your Saurian friend and gain a small amount of 
Primogems. The Rest Area is a peaceful place where you can meet your Saurian companion whenever you want to.
