Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has announced the next "Amplifying Test" for Zenless Zone Zero, giving even more players a chance to try out the studio's new game early. First revealed in 2022, HoYoverse has already given fans plenty of teasers of what to expect from the next game from the Shanghai-based studio. Zenless Zone Zero boasts similar flashy action-oriented combat to Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, set against a futuristic big city aesthetic. Now, HoYoverse is rolling out the next round of beta tests for the upcoming action RPG.
Throughout the two years since Zenless Zone Zero's reveal, HoYoverse has teased a plethora of information about the game. The developer has released multiple character trailers for Zenless Zone Zero, showing off playable roster members like Anby, Nicole, and Billy among others. Zenless Zone Zero has also run multiple closed beta tests since its initial reveal, allowing select players to try out the game's fast-paced combat early. Now, fans are getting another chance to check out Zenless Zone Zero with HoYoverse announcing a new "Amplifying Test."
HoYoverse officially revealed its next round of beta tests for Zenless Zone Zero late Saturday night, allowing players to sign up for the new tests. HoYoverse did not reveal any official timelines for the beta test, stating it would announce the closing date for signups and the beta's start "at a later date." Fans looking to sign up for Zenless Zone Zero's beta test will be asked to complete a short survey about their gameplay experience, as well as the hardware used for testing Zenless Zone Zero. Details were not confirmed about the beta test's contents either, though it is expected new characters will likely be featured.
HoYoverse Announces New Zenless Zone Zero Amplifying Test
Though HoYoverse's announcement was light on details about the Zenless Zone Zero beta, the developer has given exciting news for fans of the game in recent months. During Sony's first State of Play broadcast of 2024, Zenless Zone Zero was confirmed to be releasing on PS5, following in the footsteps of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The game's official release window was also confirmed, expected to launch at some point during 2024.
The upcoming beta test for Zenless Zone Zero comes as HoYoverse has been especially busy with several of its games. Honkai: Star Rail recently launched its Version 2.0 update, bringing the first new playable world to the game with the debut of Penacony. Honkai Impact 3rd also introduced its massive "Part 2" update at the end of February, whisking players to Mars with major overhauls to the game's combat and a brand-new starring cast. Zenless Zone Zero looks to build on the overwhelming success HoYoverse has seen with its recent games.
