A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the list of limited characters that will appear on banners in the next update. Genshin Impact updates are always split into two phases, each of which features a double banner with two five-star characters and three four-star units.
The current Phase 1 of Genshin Impact update 5.6 features Escoffier and Navia as five-star units, while Ifa, Ororon, and Layla make up the four-star lineup. While the second banner phase is still a couple of days away, new leaks have hinted at which limited playable units will be available in the next update.

According to a new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, a list of characters that will be featured in the next update has been revealed. HoYoverse has already confirmed that the next update will introduce two new playable units to Genshin Impact: the long-awaited Skirk and a four-star unit named Dahlia. According to a credible leaker named homdgcat, Genshin Impact update 5.7 will feature the following four five-star units: Skirk, Emilie, Mavuika, and Shenhe. So far, the only leaked four-star units are Dahlia and Yaoyao, which means four more four-stars are yet to be revealed. Many players claim this will be one of the most stacked banners in recent memory, as it includes both the long-awaited Skirk and the Natlan Archon Mavuika, who has yet to receive her first rerun.

As for the banner order, Skirk and Emilie will most likely be featured in the first phase of Genshin Impact update 5.7, while Mavuika and Shenhe will appear in the second phase. Many fans are excited to see Shenhe finally return to a Limited Character Banner after more than two years. Some comments are also surprised to see her featured in the same update as Skirk, who, despite being a Cryo user, does not have great synergy with popular Cryo support units.

Players who want to maximize Skirk’s DPS potential should consider pulling for the currently available Escoffier, whose banner is scheduled to expire around May 27. Even though Mavuika is likely the strongest released character in the entire Natlan arc, her kit has sparked some controversy in the community, as she's not as flexible compared to previously released Archons.
This is mainly due to her kit relying on having Nightsoul characters in the party, a mechanic exclusive to Genshin Impact characters from the Pyro nation. For official confirmation of the upcoming limited characters, players should wait for the next Special Program event.
