A new leak from Genshin Impact is hinting at a major buff for characters reaching the newly-announced Level 100, giving a significant boost to Elemental Reactions. The launch of the HoYoverse RPG's next new region of Nod-Krai is set to bring plenty of big changes to the game, ranging from its newly exploreable areas to system adjustments. Genshin Impact's Version 6.0 will introduce a brand-new upgrade to the game's Battle Pass alongside three new characters, as well as multiple smaller changes. However, one particular Verison 6.0 upgrade has been a highly-requested change for years.
Genshin Impact officially revealed that it will be raising the level cap for characters for the first time since the game's launch in 2020. With the release of Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact will add the "Masterless Stella Fortuna" as a special new item, allowing players to uncap their character's level. Players can earn Masterless Stella Fortunas by acquiring new copies of five-star characters with maxed-out Constellations, with the first raising the cap to Level 95 and a second needed to bring characters to Level 100. Now, Level 100 characters will reportedly see a major boost to one particular stat.

A new update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat is teasing a buff to Level 100 characters' Elemental Reactions. The buff details the base damage applied when triggering an Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact, with Level 90 characters dealing roughly 1,446 damage. The post shows how the base damage is raised with Genshin Impact's new level caps, with Level 100 characters dealing 2,030 damage for a 40% increase from Level 90. HomDGCat also clarifies that the raised damage numbers will be coupled with an increase to Crystallize's base shield value.

- Level 100: 2,030 base damage (+40.3%)
Genshin Impact's Elemental Reactions have seen another particularly notable change with a recent character, introducing a brand-new Elemental Reaction. The release of Ineffa in Version 5.8 saw the debut of the new "Lunar-Charged" Elemental Reaction, currently exclusive to the Nod-Krai five-star character. Lunar-Charged serves as a replacement to Electro-Charged when Ineffa is in the party, swapping the chain damage for a thundercloud that deals constant damage to enemies afflicted with Hydro or Electro. HoYoverse also teased that future characters will be able to trigger Lunar-Charged alongside Ineffa.
Genshin Impact's Level 100 characters are just part of the suite of changes coming to the RPG's gameplay in Version 6.0. The previously-mentioned Battle Pass changes will make farming Local Specialty items easier, with Local Specialties now available through the Battle Pass. Nod-Krai is also expected to add a multitude of new enemies for players to challenge, including two Nod-Krai World Bosses and three new Local Legends enemies. Genshin Impact fans won't have to wait much longer to see everything that the RPG's newest region has to offer.
