Recent changes in the Genshin Impact beta have revealed that Version 6.2 will feature Jahoda, Gaming, and Chevreuse on the Event Banners, but players will also be able to choose a free copy of Sucrose, Razor, or Fischl. Though Genshin Impact won't introduce a map expansion in Version 6.2, the upcoming patch will still feature a fair bit of content for players to dive into: the next chapter of the Song of the Welkin Moon, Durin's Story Quest, the Witch's Coursework, and its Flagship Event.
The Witch's Coursework is a unique addition to Version 6.2's slate of content, as it will allow players to buff their old Genshin Impact characters from Mondstadt. The quest will seemingly feature Lisa and Alice to some degree, and it will unlock a series of quests to improve the following 5-Stars and 4-Stars: Mona, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Fischl, Razor, Sucrose. Starting from Version 6.2, these characters will count as members of the Hexenzirkel for gameplay purposes, triggering powerful buffs when partnered up with at least one other Hexenzirkel teammate.
Genshin Impact Leak Brings Bad News for Version 6.2
Genshin Impact looks to be continuing an unpopular trend in Nod-Krai that once started with Natlan, urging players to hold onto their Primogems.

This is important to keep in mind, as completing the Witch's Coursework will allow players to pick a free copy of either Sucrose, Razor, or Fischl in Genshin Impact. According to HomDGCat, Version 6.2 will also feature Jahoda, Chevreuse, and Gaming on the Event Banners during an unspecified phase. From a datamining standpoint, this means that the test trials for Gaming and Chevreuse have been altered for Version 6.2, implying that HoYoverse aims to give them a rerun in the upcoming patch.
The Event Banners for Version 6.2 will also feature Durin, Venti, Xilonen, and Varesa in an unknown order. That being said, it is safe to assume that Durin will headline the first half of the update due to Version 6.2 marking his debut as a playable character. It remains to be seen if Version 6.2 will feature a Mondstadt Chronicled Banner in Genshin Impact, but between the Witch's Coursework and its Event Banner lineup, the circumstances couldn't be more perfect.
While Version 6.2 has an enticing lineup, featuring some of the best 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact, there are two things to consider. The number of Primogems that players can obtain will be below average for Version 6.2, and Columbina is just around the corner. Secondly, this lineup is incomplete, and players should wait until the developer livestream on November 21, 2025, to see how the Event Banners will shake out. Version 6.2 is set to come out on December 3, 2025.
