The latest beta build for Genshin Impact has revealed that Version 6.1 will award players with a free Collei for participating in its Flagship Event. With Version 6.0 opening the doors to Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact has introduced three new characters to the roster, a whole new region for players to explore, and the first chapter of the Song of the Welkin Moon. Version 6.1 will follow up with Nefer, a 5-Star Dendro Catalyst, the open beta for Miliastra Wonderland, and a Flagship Event in Sumeru.
From a content standpoint, Version 6.1 will not introduce any map expansion to Nod-Krai, and will thus have far fewer Primogems to offer. Its Event Banners are expected to feature Nefer, Furina, Arlecchino, and Zhongli – with Arlecchino rumored to play a major role in the Archon Quest for Version 6.1. For fans who may want to play Nefer in Genshin Impact, they should consider obtaining Lauma in Version 6.0 if they have sufficient Intertwined Wishes.
Genshin Impact Redeem Codes
Genshin Impact redeem codes commonly come with Primogems rewards that aid in players’ gacha experience.
Genshin Impact May Award Players a Free Collei in Version 6.1
As datamined by HomDGCat, Version 6.1 will come with a free copy of Collei, the 4-Star Dendro Bow from Sumeru. While Genshin Impact does have better options for a Dendro Support character, Collei still has her own niche within Hyperbloom teams – or when paired up with Clorinde in Aggravate. Players will be able to obtain Collei by completing activities in the new Flagship Event for Version 6.1, which will also feature other Sumeru characters in Genshin Impact, such as Dehya and Faruzan.
While Genshin Impact players enjoy receiving free 4-Star characters every other patch, some have begun to wonder if the system is in need of an overhaul. Many 4-Stars have already featured as event rewards from older nations, and many players already have them at C6. Given that the Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact features a selector for its 4-Star characters, the community can't help but wonder if HoYoverse would be willing to apply this system to other nations beyond Liyue.
It's no secret that Genshin Impact has gotten increasingly generous with its gacha system. Starting from Version 6.0, players can work toward obtaining free Constellations for certain Genshin Impact characters, and the Anniversary Event for 2025 comes with prepared ascension materials. The new Flagship Event will likely take place during the first half of the update, which may also imply that Collei will feature on the Event Banners with Nefer. Version 6.1 is expected to debut on October 22, 2025, but players will be able to find out more about the upcoming patch during the next Special Program Announcement.
