The massively popular RPG from HoYoverse has experimented with collaborations with a wide array of different brands, ranging from fast-food chains like McDonald's and Pizza Hut to tech companies like Samsung. HoYoverse has even featured crossover content within Genshin Impact, adding Horizon Zero Dawn's Aloy as a playable character. Now, HoYoverse is looking to collaborate once again with a familiar partner.
Genshin Impact has grown quite familiar with KFC through several crossovers with the iconic fast-food brand, especially within the Chinese market. A new post shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Seele Leaks is showing some behind-the-scenes images of Genshin Impact's new KFC collab. The leak shows off several promotional images for the KFC collab, particularly showcasing stunning new outfit designs for both Kaveh and Alhaitham. The promotional materials feature several different members of the main Sumeru cast, showing off special artwork of Faruzan, Collei, and Nahida among others. The post does not confirm a start date for the Genshin Impact and KFC collab event, though it does mention a promotional video for the event may be coming in June.
Genshin Impact's newest collaboration with KFC comes as the most recent in a long line of crossover events with fast food chains. 2024 marked one of the game's first major fast food crossovers outside China, with Genshin Impact collaborating with McDonald's in the United States for a limited time.
