A recent Genshin Impact leak reveals a new Version 5.0 event item that has a very nostalgic air to it. Genshin Impact first launched in 2020 and has since come a very long way. The highly anticipated region of Natlan is debuting in Version 5.0 and some leaks give players a peek at what is to come.
When Genshin Impact first shared the "Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview" trailer back in 2020, it gave players a glimpse of all the nations they would visit on their journey as Travelers. Mondstadt and Liyue were the first two regions released in the early days, while Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine debuted in the later updates. Now, almost four years later, players may realize how fast time went by as the mysterious Natlan, the sixth of the seven main nations, is just a few weeks away. The Pyro Nation is expected to be released in Genshin Impact's 5.0 update around late August.
According to a recent leak, longtime players will be able to reminisce about their journey so far thanks to a new item arriving in Genshin Impact Version 5.0. Community leaker mirukoreal shared a video of a special object that will reportedly be obtainable through one of the update's events. It is called "Mementos of Teyvat Album" and it's a photo album containing pictures and texts describing players' first encounters with Amber, Xiangling, Kazuha, Collei, and Lynette, as well as the landmarks discovered in each past region. In the last pages, the album shows a picture of Natlan and another of the first Teleport Waypoint players ever unlocked in the game, stating that the Traveler's exploration journey is far from ending.
Genshin Impact Leaks New Version 5.0 Nostalgic Item
The photo album may feature Amber, Xiangling, Collei, and Lynette as protagonists of each region because, among all Genshin Impact characters, they are given to players for free after completing certain requirements. The only exception is Kazuha, a limited 5-star, though he may have been chosen because no Inazuma characters are unlocked for free. It is unclear if the album will add more pages as the Natlan Archon Quest progresses.
Over the past few weeks, several Genshin Impact leaks have shed light on the Pyro Nation and Archon, such as Natlan's map and Reputation System, and the rumored release of a playable Mavuika in the 5.3 update. Rumors also suggest that Natlan is breaking Genshin Impact tradition and Travelers won't acquire the Pyro element as soon as they step into the nation. The region is set to debut near the end of August, so fans will have to wait until all is confirmed.
