A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing one of the first locations in Snezhnaya, with several pieces of dialogue referring to the Snezhnayan border village of Nordekalle. The in-game world of the HoYoverse RPG has expanded exponentially since the game first launched in September 2020, with plenty of new places to explore. The recent Version 5.0 update saw the addition of the first areas of Natlan, the sixth playable region added to the popular game. However, one particular corner of the game's map has been shrouded in mystery since its launch.
Snezhnaya has been one of the most prominent regions in all of Genshin Impact, playing a major role in the game's main story. The Fatui, serving as Genshin Impact's primary antagonists, are headquartered in Snezhnaya, with players coming into conflict with the Fatui numerous times throughout the story. Snezhnaya has also been teased as an icy tundra ruled by the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon that also acts as the leader of the Fatui. Now, one of the first areas from Snezhnaya is being teased through a batch of upcoming in-game dialogue.

Genshin Impact Leak Teases Snezhnaya Town
A new leak shared on the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit via prominent leaker HomDGCat is teasing one of the first towns in Snezhnaya. The dialogue, believed to be spoken by recurring character Liben, references the border village of Nordekalle at Snezhnaya's southern tip. Nordekalle is referred to as a trade-centric town with people from all over Teyvat gathering in the village, warning the player against "letting others know they hold a big sum of Mora." The town appears to boast a more seedy reputation than its popularity as a trade center would suggest, based on the in-game dialogue.
While HoYoverse has not officially featured Snezhnaya in-game as of yet, Genshin Impact has done plenty of work to tease the upcoming region. Multiple members of the Fatui Harbingers have become playable in Genshin Impact, with Version 1.1 character Tartaglia even hailing from Snezhnaya. Snezhnaya has often been mentioned in-game as well, including dialogue from members of the Fatui found throughout Genshin Impact's cities. Snezhnaya is currently expected to launch in Genshin Impact's Version 6.0, likely arriving in Summer 2025.
While fans begin to look ahead to the final unexplored region in Teyvat, Natlan's recent addition brought plenty of new content to the game. The region's Saurian creatures serve as some of Genshin Impact's first mounts, offering a variety of different and unique movement options for players. Natlan also introduced the new regional "Nightsoul Blessing" mechanic, with characters from the new region benefiting from special buffs to their combat and movement. Natlan's launch gives fans a plethora of new places to explore as rumors begin to surface about Genshin Impact's final region.
