A new leak from Genshin Impact suggests that a major change may be on the way for a fan-favorite event within the open-world RPG. The massively popular RPG from HoYoverse has seen plenty of popular events throughout its nearly five-year-long history, often re-running its most beloved events multiple times following their initial debut. Fans of Genshin Impact have been given several opportunities to play mini-games like Theater Mechanicus and Windtrace, with some like the rhythm mini-game even becoming a permanent addition. Now, one beloved Genshin Impact event is in for some special treatment soon.

Genshin Impact Shows New Summer Event Skins

Travelers' Tales became an instant fan-favorite event following its initial run during Genshin Impact's Version 5.4 update. The event is centered around several of Genshin Impact's pre-existing characters, introducing several bite-sized story segments involving the game's playable cast throughout its different regions. Travelers' Tales also served to satisfy a longstanding request from Genshin Impact fans, with players often asking for more opportunities to interact with the game's roster beyond its story missions. A new update could imply that Travelers' Tales will now be here to stay after Version 6.0.

Genshin Impact May Be Making Travelers' Tales Permanent

A recent post shared to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit suggests that Travelers' Tales will be receiving a big change in Version 6.0. According to the leak, Travelers' Tales is officially set to become a permanent fixture within Genshin Impact during the Version 6.0 update, allowing players to complete the character-focused scenes at any time. The leak did not specifically mention any new Travelers' Tales stories coming with the game mode's update. Travelers' Tales will return to Genshin Impact with Version 6.0 on September 10.

Genshin Impact Players Find Huge Oversight With New Event

The permanent return of Travelers' Tales should be a welcome addition for fans of Genshin Impact. The event brings plenty more to do within Genshin Impact's overworld through its character-focused stories, with all previous Travelers' Tales scenes said to be returning as part of the event's new run. Travelers' Tales will also feature a new "wishing" mechanic with its return, with fans able to visit Inazuma's Narukami Shrine to request specific characters' Anecdotes to appear the next day. The rewards for Anecdotes will return as well, granting Primogems to players for clearing a certain amount of stories.
