If you’re a beginner to Genshin Impact, one thing that you might not know is how significant it is to start a daily Artifact Farming Route. Artifacts in Genshin Impact are essentially pieces that you equip onto characters to give them more stats. Each artifact farmed depends on the character, and it’s always something you need to keep in mind when planning to build them.
Quite frankly, it’s only necessary to start farming for artifacts once you hit Adventure Rank 45, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to completely avoid it. You still need lower-level pieces that you can obtain in the overworld to use in the future. These lower-level pieces will be your foundation in the inventory and can be used to level up the 5-star pieces you obtain in the future. Here are all the Artifact Farming Routes you need to remember in Liyue.
Players should keep in mind that all investigation spots respawn after 12/24hours. They should also be aware that farming in one nation doesn't necessarily mean all the artifact spots in other nations will also be available for collection.
What To Do First In Genshin Impact
Any players new to Genshin Impact can refer to this guide to figure out what to do first in Teyvat.
Liyue Artifact Farming Route
Most of the artifacts that you can farm in Genshin Impact start in Liyue, and your route will begin in Qingce Village and end inside the Chasm.
Qingce Village Route
- Teleport to the waypoint northeast from the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula domain. From there, turn around and go into the building past Granny Ruoxin. Head behind the screen, and you’ll see a glowing mark near some boxes. Interact with it to get the first couple of artifacts.
- From the previous point, head down the stairs to your left, past the wooden bridge on the right and towards a cart filled with red pots. The pots will contain an artifact.
- Now, head down the next set of stairs and towards the blue houses that you see. Run around both of them, and you’ll see some artifacts in boxes.
- Teleport to the waypoint northeast of your previous location and turn left to glide towards the house you see below you. Run around the area clicking on the glowing spots to collect the artifacts.
Stone Gate Route
- Teleport to the main waypoint at Stone Gate and head right towards the blue tents. You’ll find glowing spots near some boxes that have artifacts.
Dihua Marsh Route
- Start over at the Statue of Seven and head southeast on the map to find a small house with a green roof. Just run around the house, and you’ll find some artifacts there.
- Next, teleport to the waypoint at Wangshu Inn, turn around, and head towards the dock on the left side of the inn. You’ll see a group of boxes with artifacts in them.
Sal Terrae Route
- Teleport to the waypoint at Sal Terrae and turn around to see a green tent. Go inside to click the glowing marks and get the artifacts.
Genshin Impact: Lisha Geoculus Locations
Genshin Impact players can find 11 Geoculus for collection in Liyue's sub-region, Lisha.
Yaoguang Shoal Route
- Head to the Statue of Seven at Yaoguang Shoal and glide right towards the rock formations. You’ll see a green tent in the distance; inside, you’ll find some artifacts.
Mt. Tianheng Route
- This route is actually west of Mt. Tianheng and starts at the Domain of Wayward Path. You need to teleport there, head straight out, and stick to your left. You’ll see a green tent in the distance; inside, there will be some artifacts.
Tianqiu Valley Route
- Teleport to the waypoint at Tianqiu Valley, turn around, and head up the valley. Keep going until you see a hilichurl digging near some broken wood towards the left. There will be a glowing spot there as well.
- Now, just keep going straight and stick to your left as you do so. There will be more wooden panels with glowing spots.
Jueyun Karst Route
- The first route in Jueyun Karst starts off at the teleport waypoint north of Cuijue Slope. Turn right and head down the path you see towards the shore. Along the way, you’ll see multiple broken wheelbarrows. Each of them will have a few artifacts.
- Now, teleport to the waypoint in the middle of Jueyun Karst, turn around, and head towards the house you see on the right. If you run around the area, you’ll be able to grab some artifacts. When you’re done, keep heading down the path. At every broken wooden structure, you’ll find more artifacts along the road.
- For this one, teleport back to the same waypoint and head right, sticking to the mountain edge until you find a Treasure Hoarder camp. There will be a bunch of artifacts scattered around the area.
Genshin Impact: Jueyun Karst Puzzle Solution
Genshin Impact's world is filled with secret locations filled with extra loot, but some of those locations are not easy to get inside of.
Huaguang Stone Forest Route
- Huaguang Stone Forest also has two routes, and you can start off at the main teleport waypoint at Mt. Aocang. Glide over to the first rock pillar you see in front of you and then drop towards the makeshift rest area and bridge. There will be some artifacts there for you to collect.
- From the previous place, glide over to the southmost rock formation and plunge all the way down when you will spot an area with a red umbrella. The area will have a couple of artifacts to grab.
- Now, teleport to the waypoint east of Mt. Aocang and go towards the house you see in front of you. There will be artifacts to collect there.
- From the previous point, head right on the map and up the pathway through to a Treasure Hoarder camp. Defeat them and then grab the artifacts from the boxes.
East Of Minlin Route
- This route features the highest number of artifacts and starts off at the teleport waypoint north of the area (this is the one located east of Mt. Aocang). You just need to turn right and run up the side of the mountain, before gliding left towards the Treasure Hoarder camp you see below you. There will be some artifacts in the tents.
- From the previous point, head near a small tributary to find carts that will contain some artifacts.
- Next, teleport to the waypoint beside the shoreline and head straight to the broken cart you see. There will be an artifact to pick up there.
- From the previous point, head up the hill on your left and keep going until you see another hut below you. There will be some pots with artifacts that you can collect.
- Just keep going along the shore until you see a boat and a hut where you can grab some artifacts.
- From there, head inland until you see some broken rocks with a makeshift bunker. Head inside, and you’ll find a bunch of pots with artifacts in them.
- Finally, head to the teleport waypoint in the middle (north of Jueyun Karst) and glide across to the mountain southeast of the area. From there, climb up and go around the side to find a wooden structure. It’ll be slightly hidden by a tree, so you need to look out carefully for it.
