Lunar-Charged Reaction In Genshin Impact
Lunar-Charged is a reaction in Genshin Impact that happens in place of the normal Electro-Charged. The main features of Lunar-Charged are:
- Lunar-Charged can Crit. Each character's Crit is calculated individually. Crit chance is considered upon Elemental application, even if no DMG is dealt.
- Lunar-Charged final DMG is calculated based on the entire team's Lunar-Charged DMG.
- Lunar-Charged normally scales with Elemental Mastery (EM).
- There's a "direct" version of Lunar-Charged that scales outside of EM and has a higher base multiplier. For example, Ineffa's A1 passive.

How Does Lunar-Charged Work In Genshin Impact?
Any character that applies Electro or Hydro on an enemy, even if there's no DMG involved, will be considered as a participant in a Lunar-Charged reaction. Then, there are several steps to calculate the final damage:
- Calculate each character's normal Lunar-Charged DMG. As long as they applied Electro or Hydro, even if they're not dealing damage.
- Rank all the DMG from all Electro or Hydro applicators.
- The character with the highest Lunar-Charged DMG will be considered 100%. Second-top will be considered 50%. Third and fourth DMG will only be calculated at 1/12.
- Sum all the DMG for the final Lunar-Charged DMG.
If there are fewer than four Electro or Hydro applicators, the damage calculation remains the same, with the other DMG considered as 0 in the calculation.
