Lyney and Lynette are the twin magicians in Genshin Impact. Lyney, the brother, is the star of the show who performs the trick, while Lynette, the sister, is his assistant that helps him captivate the audience. Similar to how their role is divided in their show, so does their performance on the battlefield. Lyney is a strong main DPS, while Lynette leans more toward the supportive role.
Like common Anemo characters, she provides a field that absorbs Element on top of dealing Anemo DMG. Her kit also features some supportive value, but sadly, it’s not catered for Lyney. Although people won’t be able to play the two together optimally, Lynette can still be a support for other characters. In this case, players must understand the proper Lynette build in Genshin Impact.

Lynette Best Artifact In Genshin Impact
Lynette is a Sub-DPS that mostly depends on her Elemental Burst to deal damage and support her team in Genshin Impact. So, players should give her either 4-Viridescent Venerer or 4-Noblesse Oblige to maximize the usage of her Elemental Burst. Viridescent Venerer is the kind of set that can always be viable for any Anemo unit that can continuously trigger Swirl without issues. Lynette meets that requirement with her Elemental Skill has an acceptable Cooldown timer and an Elemental Burst that stays on the field for 12 seconds, which grants Lynette the ability to debuff enemies at any time while her Burst is active. As for Noblesse Oblige, Lynette already has an up to 20% ATK buff for her team, so matching it with another 20% from Noblesse adds to Lynette a nice supportive ability.
If players decide to maximize the damage of Lynette, then going all in with 4-Emblem of Severed Fate is the best option for her kit. Her Elemental Burst carries an acceptable amount of damage, especially after triggering its Elemental Conversion. If players don’t have a decent Emblem set, they can opt to use 2-Noblesse Oblige and a 2-set that grants 15% Anemo DMG, which are 2-Viridescent Venerer or 2-Desert Pavilion Chronicle.
When choosing Lyentte’s main stats, players can give her ATK on Timepiece, Anemo DMG Bonus on Goblet, and Crit Rate/DMG on Circlet. Additionally, Timepiece’s main stat can also be an Energy Recharge to ensure her Elemental Burst is always active on the field. As for her sub-stats, prioritizing Crit Rate/DMG, ATK, and Energy Recharge helps Lynette deal more damage and play her role as a Sub-DPS/Support better. Alternatively, people can opt for a Swirl Build, in which case Lynette will need triple Elemental Mastery artifacts or Energy Recharge on Timepiece.
If players are wondering why they should use Lynette over other Anemo characters like Sucrose, there are two main reasons why Lynette can be viable:
- Her Elemental Burst provides Taunt, which is great if the main DPS is a ranged character
- She comes with an innate Ousia Energy, which means she works well against Meka enemies with Pneuma Energy
Lynette Best Weapon In Genshin Impact
Since it’s important to focus on maximizing Lynette’s supportive playstyle, giving her Freedom-Sworn is essential for her kit since it helps her further buff her team’s damage. The other 5-star weapons are not that effective on her since Lynette mostly needs what the 4-star Swords can offer her. For instance, Festering Desire is a good choice that grants the ability to deal high damage with her Elemental Skill and gives her a decent amount of ER to improve her ability to unleash her Burst.
For players that want Lynette’s Burst to always stay on the field, Fleuve Cendre Ferryman is a great option since it grants her up to 77% Energy Recharge, more than any other weapon in Genshin Impact. Classic Swords like Favonius Sword and Sacrificial Sword are also great in that regard.
