Pneumousia is a new mechanic in Genshin Impact Fontaine where objects or enemies may adopt one of the two energy types. Pneuma energy is bright yellow, while Ousia is dark purple. When one of the two energies exists, players must use the opposing type to trigger overload and incapacitate the object/enemy.
Typically, the energy can be obtained by picking up their respective blocks in the open world, but Fontaine characters also exclusively have them by default. For instance, Lyney has a Pneuma Arkhe that can be triggered by his Prop Arrow every 6s, while Lynette has an Ousia Arkhe that appears when she unleashes Surging Blade, every 10s. Due to this unique Fontaine ability, players may want to use Lynette in their party despite her mediocre kit. To help her shine brighter, here are the best weapons for Lynette in Genshin Impact.
5 Favonius Sword
- Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 61.3% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: CRIT hits have a 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 6s.
Favonius weapons in Genshin Impact are always great on characters that can play the Supportive role. For Lynette, giving her a Favonius Sword helps her operate better as a Support since she’ll be able to slightly improve her team’s Energy management. It’s also easy for Lynette to trigger the Sword’s requirement since it’s always good for her to have a high Crit Rate.
4 Sacrificial Sword
- Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 61.3% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has an 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.
Just like Favonius, Sacrificial Sword also helps Lynette trigger her Elemental Burst more often and play her Supportive role with ease. The ability to cast her Elemental Skill twice enhances her role as a battery in Genshin Impact, especially for Anemo units. However, both Sacrificial and Favonius suffer from low Base ATK and low offensive stats in general, which force Lynette into a more supportive role than an offensive one.
3 Fleuve Cendre Ferryman
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 45.9% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 16%. Additionally, increases Energy Recharge by 32% for 5s after using an Elemental Skill.
As a free weapon in Genshin Impact, it’s easy for players to fully refine Fleuve Cendre Ferryman and benefit from its R5 passive. At R5, the weapon can buff Lynette’s Energy Recharge to up to 77%, which is amazing for her kit. If that’s not enough, Fleuve Cendre Ferryman also adds Crit Rate to Lynette's Elemental Skill without losing its decent Base ATK, making it a very balanced 4-star option for Lynette in Genshin Impa ct.
2 Festering Desire
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 45.9% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 32% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 12%.
Lynette has good scaling on her Elemental Skill, so it’s always good to buff her damage in that regard. Festering Desire offers up to 32% extra damage on her Elemental Skill alongside up to 12% extra Crit Rate. Not to mention, Festering Desire has also a decent Base ATK for an F2P Sword and 45% Energy Recharge to balance the usage of all her kit. Just like Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, Festering Desire is a balanced choice to put in Lynette’s hands.
1 Freedom-Sworn
- Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 198 Elemental Mastery
- Effect: A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases DMG by 10%. When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.
Freedom-Sworn is always a fun weapon to use, especially on Anemo users in Genshin Impact. Lynette can benefit from all that Freedom-Sworn offers. The Elemental Mastery sub-stat is great if players are building Lynette to deal maximum Swirl damage. The Sword also has a high Base ATK with extra damage inside the passive, which ensures Lynette’s damage doesn’t tank compared to other weapons. Of course, it also comes with a supportive passive that enhances the main DPS’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack on top of the universal ATK boost.
