A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed significant in-game footage featuring one of the upcoming five-star characters, the Pyro Archon Mavuika. Over the past few days, multiple Genshin Impact leaks have suggested that update 5.3 will introduce a wealth of new content, including three new playable units.
Since the addition of the Natlan region, Genshin Impact has been introducing at least one character per update, with Citlali and Ororon being the most recent additions. While there is considerable hype surrounding these characters, it’s safe to say that the most anticipated character at the moment is still the leader of Natlan, Mavuika.

A new Genshin Impact leak reveals more details about the release date for two upcoming characters, Natlan's Archon Mavuika and Citlali.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed in-game animations featuring the long-awaited Pyro Archon, Mavuika. The leak showcases Mavuika's exciting gameplay, which appears to revolve around her Elemental Skill. This skill can summon a Pyro-infused motorcycle known as Flamestrider. During this state, Genshin Impact's Pyro Archon can traverse various types of terrain with ease, and her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are converted to Nightsoul-aligned Pyro damage. The footage reveals that using any of her normal attacks during this state will not knock Mavuika off her vehicle. The Pyro infusion effects end when Mavuika's Nightsoul points are completely depleted.
Genshin Impact: Mavuika Kit Explained
Tapping Mavuika's Elemental Skill deploys an AoE effect that deals Pyro damage to enemies every two seconds, even when she’s not on the field. This suggests that Mavuika might also have strong supportive capabilities in Genshin Impact. Her Elemental Burst relies on another point system called Battle Will. Mavuika can accumulate up to 200 points, and reaching 50% of that allows her to activate her Elemental Burst, which has multiple effects.
When players activate Mavuika's Elemental Burst, she deals AoE damage that scales with her Battle Will points. The Burst also puts Mavuika in a special state that grants interruption resistance. Additionally, it boosts the damage of all active characters based on the consumed Battle Will points. Previous leaks revealed that Mavuika gains a significant ATK buff if any Nightsoul Elemental Bursts are activated on the field. Mavuika can also gain Battle Will points if her party members perform Normal Attacks on enemies or consume Genshin Impact's Nightsoul Points.
This means Mavuika will likely have excellent synergy with other Natlan characters in Genshin Impact, as the Nightsoul system is exclusive to playable units from this region. Her ascension stat is CRIT Damage, which suggests that players can equip her with a powerful five-star weapon providing CRIT stats, ensuring optimal performance.
