Summary

  • Genshin Impact's Mavuika generated 64% of total sales, outperforming Citlali.
  • Mavuika, a powerful Pyro character, excels in dealing damage.
  • Citlali, a Cryo support, offers excellent synergy with Pyro characters for elemental reactions.

An interesting Genshin Impact chart has revealed significant information about the revenue difference between the two currently featured five-stars, Mavuika and Citlali. Genshin Impact's double banners have become standard for each update, allowing players to pull for two different five-star units simultaneously.

While HoYoverse typically separates its character releases and spreads them over two banner cycles within a single update, this time Genshin Impact included both new roster additions in the same double banner. The main reason for this might be that both Mavuika and Citlali hail from Natlan, and the second part of the update will take players back to Liyue for the Lantern Rite Festival.

Genshin Impact Chart Shows Four-star Waiting List for 5.3

An interesting Genshin Impact chart ranks the game's limited four-star characters based on the number of consecutive updates they miss.

Mavuika and Citlali arrived as part of Genshin Impact Version 5.3, which launched on January 1, giving players around two weeks to add these playable units to their rosters. An interesting chart shared by a credible stats website, Paimon.moe, has revealed the revenue difference between Citlali and Mavuika. According to the data, Mavuika accounts for over 64% of the total sales, leaving Citlali with under 36% of the revenue. This significant difference is likely due to Mavuika being one of the most anticipated characters in the community. As an Archon, Mavuika serves as the main protector of the Pyro nation, and players can learn more about her story in the ongoing Update 5.3.

Genshin Impact: Should You Pull For Mavuika or Citlali?

Overall, Mavuika is likely the most powerful Natlan character to join the roster so far due to her ability to deal massive Pyro damage. Her playstyle revolves around her motorcycle, known as Flamestrider, which can be used both in combat and while traveling across Teyvat, the vast world of Genshin Impact.

However, despite Mavuika's overall strength on the field, some players have been slightly critical of her playstyle, claiming that Mavuika is not as versatile as some of the previously released Archons. The main reason for this is her reliance on having other characters that use the Nightsoul system in her party. This unique mechanic, introduced in Version 5.0, is exclusive to Genshin Impact's Natlan characters.

As for Citlali's performance, she is a powerful Cryo support in Genshin Impact. While Citlali's damage numbers are not exceptional, she excels at Cryo application, making her an excellent choice for certain team compositions that rely on powerful elemental reactions such as Melt. This reaction, triggered by combining Pyro with Cryo, means that Citlali also has great synergy with Natlan's Pyro Archon.
