Just like any other niche support in Genshin Impact, Mika Constellations are crucial to getting the most out of his kit. Similar to other units like Gorou and Kujou Sara whose best values lie in their C6, Mika is the same. Fortunately, the young knight is still a decent support and healer even without his C6.
In short, Mika’s Constellations in Genshin Impact are split into two categories; three enhance his buff, while the other three help with his healing. Here’s each effect and worth of Mika Constellations in detail.
Are Mika Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
When it comes to Mika Constellation in Genshin Impact, the most important ones to have are his C2, C5, and C6. C2 helps improve how his buff works, C5 increases Skill level, while C6 just makes him the best Physical DPS support in Genshin Impact. Meanwhile, C1, C3, and C4 all have lower priority as they mostly enhance his healing process.
C1 - Factor Confluence
- Effect: The Soulwind state of Starfrost Swirl can decrease the healing interval between instances caused by Skyfeather Song's Eagleplume state. This decrease percentage is equal to the ATK SPD increase provided by Soulwind.
- Importance: Low
Originally, Mika’s healing will trigger once every 2.5s, but this interval can be reduced by obtaining his C1. At Skill level 10, players will get a 22% decrease, which means the healing can now be triggered once every ~2s. It’s great if players think Mika’s healing is insufficient, but most of the time, this effect is not crucial to have.
C2 - Companion's Ingress
- Effect: When Starfrost Swirl's Flowfrost Arrow first hits an opponent, or its Rimestar Flare hits an opponent, 1 Detector stack from Passive Talent "Suppressive Barrage" will be generated. You must have unlocked the Passive Talent "Suppressive Barrage" first.
- Importance: Priority
Mika’s Physical DMG Bonus is really handy, but triggering the effect is not the most straightforward process. With Mika’s C2, the initial hit for both his hold and tap Skill are guaranteed to grant at least one stack, which means players can always enjoy a 10% Physical DMG Bonus.
C4 - Sunfrost Encomium
- Effect: When Mika's own Skyfeather Song's Eagleplume state heals party members, this will restore 3 Energy to Mika. This form of Energy restoration can occur 5 times during the Eagleplume state created by 1 use of Skyfeather Song.
- Importance: Medium
Mika C4 helps with his Energy, but it’s not very crucial as Mika shouldn’t be played with offensive weapons in Genshin Impact, which means players likely would already have enough Energy Recharge on him.
C6 - Companion's Counsel
- Effect: The maximum number of Detector stacks that Starfrost Swirl's Soulwind can gain is increased by 1. You need to have unlocked the Passive Talent "Suppressive Barrage" first. Additionally, active characters affected by Soulwind will deal 60% more Physical CRIT DMG.
- Importance: Priority
The final effect of Mika Constellation in Genshin Impact is clearly the star of his kit. Not only can he now grant up to 40% Physical DMG Bonus, but Physical hits also obtain a massive 60% Crit DMG buff. This means Physical DPS like Eula can deal even greater numbers effortlessly.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
