Genshin Impact has officially revealed a detailed overview of Yumemizuki Mizuki, the upcoming 5-Star character from Inazuma, including her ability kit, story, and specialty dish. As the Lantern Rite slowly comes to an end, Genshin Impact has set the stage for Version 5.4 by releasing Mizuki's Story Teaser. Not only will Mizuki be the first character from Inazuma to join the Standard Banner, but she will also be the first Standard Banner character since Dehya in Version 3.5.
In terms of her role, Mizuki in Genshin Impact is a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst. She is primarily designed around being a Swirl driver, and as such, players will want to build her with a lot of Elemental Mastery and the Viridescent Venerer set. Her best teammates include Ororon, Mavuika, Xiangling, and Furina – with the latter having synergy with Mizuki's healing.
Genshin Impact Leak Shows Mizuki's Old Concept Art
A new Genshin Impact leak showcases old concept designs for the upcoming five-star Anemo user Mizuki, who is set to arrive in Version 5.4.
Information about Yumemizuki Mizuki was shared by the official Genshin Impact account on Reddit, providing an overview of Mizuki's ability kit. While her Normal Attacks are fairly standard, Mizuki's Elemental Skill is where her identity as a Swirl driver comes into play. Activating her Elemental Skill forces Mizuki into a Dreamdrifter state, dealing Anemo damage to enemies around her at normal intervals. Notably, this state also increases Swirl damage dealt by nearby party members. Her Elemental Burst pulls nearby entities, deals Anemo damage, and summons a Mini Baku. For the duration of her Elemental Burst, the Mini Baku will create a Special Snack that can be consumed by the currently active Genshin Impact character. If the character has over 70% HP, the Special Snack will deal Anemo damage to nearby enemies; otherwise, it will provide healing.

Mizuki is a clinical psychologist and majority shareholder of Aisa Bathhouse, a place of relaxation and therapy that mimics the hot springs of Natlan and offers the services of Mizuki herself. Players will be able to learn more about Mizuki during the Flagship Event for Version 5.4, as well as in her very own Story Quest. Notably, the Flagship Event will take place in Inazuma and will feature plenty of popular characters, such as Yae Miko and Ei. Mizuki will be available on the Event Banners in Genshin Impact during the first half of Version 5.4.
While it remains to be seen how Mizuki will measure up against other Standard Banner characters in Genshin Impact, players will be able to select her for free during the next Anniversary Event. As such, it may be more prudent for patient fans to go for her Signature Weapon, given that there is currently no guaranteed Inazuma Chronicled Banner on the way. Version 5.4 is set to launch on February 12, 2025.
