A Genshin Impact leak has revealed numerous details about a potential new character named Mizuki, who is expected to join the roster in one of the upcoming updates. As per usual, Genshin Impact is very busy this time of year, as it typically introduces a new Archon to the roster around this time.

While Mavuika is yet to officially become playable, new leaks have been unveiling a lot of information about a mysterious character named Mizuki.
Genshin Impact Unveils Hu Tao Skin Details and How to Obtain It
A new Genshin Impact announcement reveals important details about Hu Tao's new outfit in Version 5.3, including how to obtain it and its pricing.
Previous Genshin Impact leaks revealed that a character previously codenamed Kamisato Ayano has had her name changed to Mizuki. Many credible leakers have started to share more information about this character and her potential on the battlefield. According to multiple rumors, Mizuki should be a new 5-star Anemo catalyst, leading many players to believe she might have a similar playstyle to the popular Wanderer. A post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit by a credible leaker named Seele has revealed Mizuki's complete kit.
Genshin Impact: Mizuki Kit Details Leaked
- Elemental Skill: Mizuki enters a floating state that deals AoE damage to nearby enemies. During this state, Mizuki gains increased Swirl damage potential, which scales with her Elemental Mastery. Triggering Genshin Impact's Swirl reaction while in this state will extend the duration of the floating effect.
- Elemental Burst: Mizuki deals AoE damage and pulls in enemies while summoning an on-field effect called Tapir. Tapir creates Snacks that Mizuki's team members can interact with. If their HP is above a certain threshold, the Snack will explode, dealing damage, but it will also heal if they are at low HP. These items will apparently remain on the field even if Mizuki is swapped out, hinting that she might also possess decent supportive potential in Genshin Impact.
One of Mizuki's Passive Talents will increase her Elemental Mastery by 100 if she has a Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro character in her team composition. Fans have praised this decision, noting that the release of Genshin Impact's Dendro element during the Sumeru arc had pushed certain elemental reactions out of the meta.
Overall, players seem excited about Mizuki's character, claiming that she appears to be a powerful combination of Wanderer and Genshin Impact's Anemo Archon Venti. As for her release date, while HoYoverse has yet to make an official announcement, many leakers believe that she will arrive during Genshin Impact Version 5.4.
