Mona in Genshin Impact is a decent Support that can take her team’s DMG to the next level. She can also play other roles but not as effectively as her role as a buffer. Obviously, for Mona to operate perfectly, she should have a good build that drives her DMG and talents to the right outcomes.

Of course, Constellations also play a big part in every Genshin Impact character’s build, and for that, players might wonder if getting Mona’s Constellations is worth it or not.

Is Getting Mona Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

C0 Mona is a strong Hydro user in Genshin Impact. In the meta, Mona performs mostly as a sub-DPS or buffer, yet her Constellations enhance her main DPS potential instead. To increase her supportive value, people can aim for her C1 and C4. Meanwhile, Mona's C2 and C6 are rather useless for support or sub-DPS Mona.

C1 - Prophecy of Submersion

Effect: When any of your own party members hits an opponent affected by an Omen, the effects of Hydro-related Elemental Reactions are enhanced for 8s. Electro-Charged DMG increases by 15%, Vaporize DMG increases by 15%, Hydro Swirl DMG increases by 15%, and Frozen duration is extended by 15%.
Importance: Priority

Mona’s first Constellation may seem underwhelming at first glance, considering C1 Mona only buffs Hydro reactions when opponents are affected by her Omen (Elemental Burst effect). This is a strong limitation, but considering Omen is the core feature of her supportive value for other Genshin Impact characters, it easily becomes the best Constellation for Mona.

C2 - Lunar Chain

Effect: When a Normal Attack hits, there is a 20% chance that it will be automatically followed by a Charged Attack. This effect can only occur once every 5s.
Importance: Medium

C2 Mona increases her potential as a main DPS. However, she'd still be overshadowed by other Hydro DPS characters in Genshin Impact even with this effect.

C4 - Prophecy of Oblivion

Effect: When any party member attacks an opponent affected by an Omen, their CRIT Rate is increased by 15%.
Importance: Medium

C4 Mona has a very nice passive that can boost her team’s performance, especially in Morgana team compositions in Genshin Impact. This is mostly because the Illusory Bubble inflicted by Mona's Elemental Burst will not pop if the enemy is Frozen. Therefore, players will enjoy the damage increase of Omen for a far longer duration.

C6 - Rhetorics of Calamitas

Effect: Upon entering Illusory Torrent, Mona gains a 60% increase to the DMG of her next Charged Attack per second of movement. A maximum DMG Bonus of 180% can be achieved in this manner. The effect lasts for no more than 8s.
Importance: Medium
