The last Archon Quest available is Chapter IV: Act VI: Bedtime Story and it covers any answers related to the Traveler's twin. Many players may not find this side story to be worth completing before entering Natlan, however, it is necessary to know the significant background it gives on the Abyss and Khaenri’ah.
Besides that, Fontaine’s Archon Quest: Masquerade of the Guilty is way more important than Bedtime Story, as it follows the main plotline that will need to be addressed before heading to Natlan. After that, it would be a good idea to start on Natlan’s Archon Quest: Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn. The Archon Quest is mainly a prerequisite to other quests, so it’s a good idea to get that out of the way first.
6 Unlock Natlan’s Reputation System and Daily Commissions
Get Used To The Environment
Like every region in Genshin Impact, Natlan too has its own set of Daily Commissions and Reputation catered to its environment and culture. Since Natlan is the sixth region, both these mechanics are pretty self-explanatory and require immediate unlocking so that players can easily make use of the benefits that come with it.
Here are the requirements to unlock Natlan’s Daily Commissions:
- Complete the Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn”. You don't have to complete the full quest, just until the competition is done and the team heads on their Pilgrimage.
- Complete the quest “Toward Red-Hot Adventure!". Simply head to Kathryne at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and speak to her.
And to unlock Natlan’s Reputation, here is what needs to be completed:
- Complete the Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn”. Once again, this will automatically unlock once you complete the first competition sequence and Mualani offers to take you to the People of the Springs Tribe.
- Natlan's Reputation System is a little different compared to other regions. Each of the tribes has its own Reputation system and all come with Tribal Chronicles. These are special Story Quests players can do on the side.
- Each tribe has 4 Reputation Levels and all of them add up to the total max reputation. Once players reach the highest reputation level for each tribe, they can obtain rewards from the Speakers Chamber Gifts.

5 Unlock All Statues of Seven and Teleport Waypoints
Make Traveling Easier
A good practice to maintain when regions release in Genshin Impact is unlocking all the waypoints. This helps Travelers navigate more easily across the land since each Statue also lights up the map. However, if there is a waypoint that is clearly inaccessible, remember to backtrack and continue another time as those might be locked behind World Quests.
The Statue of Seven will also give players access to the Pyro version of the Traveler; however, it has yet to be confirmed whether this is the case. Aside from that, they can also unlock the collectible system for the

Sumeru, on record, currently has the longest World Quest, so there is a potentiality that Natlan’s World Quests maybe even lengthier. Little Saurian Helpers
The dragons of Natlan are not really your typical Genshin Impact dragons and are known as Saurians. These are small, cute, and the beast helpers for each tribe in the region. The tribes have learned to live alongside them and often use their abilities to help traverse the land.
- Koholasaurs (People of Springs Tribe) - they are adept at swimming at high speed and are the only Saurians capable of moving through Liquid Phlogiston and the Spiritways
- Tepetlisaurus (Children of Echoes Tribe) - earth-burrowing Saurians that can use their abilities to travel underground
- Yumkasaurus (Scions of the Canopy Tribe) - they can spit out Flamegranate Pectin to move swiftly across distances.
