Beating up bosses in Genshin Impact is a daily chore for many Travelers, mostly because open-world bosses are easy and have zero challenge. In Natlan, however, some bosses may prove to be difficult for many players, especially those who ignore the tutorial and hint about how to beat the enemy.
These bosses can be found by interacting with an Obsidian Totem, which will place players inside a Night's Trial. If Travelers are interested in completing all Night's Trials, they must find all Special Obsidian Totem locations in Genshin Impact.

Of course, with a new area, the game expands Natlan’s Night’s Trials into 12 Obsidian Totems. So, this list will be updated to include the new Obsidian Totems in Genshin Impact.
Obsidian Totem Location 1 In Genshin Impact - Ichcahuipilli’s Aegis
The Ichcahuipilli’s Aegis Night’s Trial in Genshin Impact is located north of Huitztli Hill of Natlan. Teleport to the Huitztli Hill and keep moving northeast to the river in the valley.
To summon the totem, you must move three lights next to its summoning place.

Iridescent Inscription Fragment is an item players get after completing some hefty Quests in Genshin Impact.
Starting from the tree in the middle of the river, there’s a rock filled with Condessence Crystals behind it. Destroy the top one to trigger the underground creature to move to another location. You can clearly see the creature moving from its above-ground light. Keep following the creature as it reaches its resting place.
You can find the second creature inside the tree. It’s blocked by a stone cube that needs a hook to be moved away. Enter the tree to find the hook and interact with the underground creature. Once you get the hook, get out and install the hook on the stone cube to move it away.
The third underground creature is easy to find as it resides north, a few steps away from the area. For both the second and third lights, you need to transform into Yumkasaurus to interact with them.

Mamull in Genshin Impact invites players to a Painted Stone challenge that can't be won unless they reveal his scam.
After completing the three lights, an Obsidian Totem will appear alongside a Luxurious Chest, and you’ll be able to start the Night’s Trial.
Obsidian Totem Location 2 In Genshin Impact - Tlatzacuilotl
It can be tricky to find the Tlatzacuilotl Night’s Trial in Genshin Impact. Once you teleport to the northeastern Sulfurous Veins Waypoint, jump southeast to the bottom of the Sulfurous Veins area.
Eventually, you’ll come across a lonely Tepetlisaurus that you can transform into with a shiny rock next to it. Transform and hit the rock to start a track that you can follow to open the cave that leads to your second Obsidian Totem in Genshin Impact.
Obsidian Totem Location 3 In Genshin Impact - Chimalli's Shade
Northwest of Ancestral Temple, you can find the Chimalli's Shade Night’s Trial in Genshin Impact.
Teleport to the northern Ancestral Temple Waypoint and take a few steps south to find the Obsidian Totem hidden in an open area.
Obsidian Totem Location 4 In Genshin Impact - "He Never Dies"
"He Never Dies" is a boss that resembles Capybara.
To find He Never Dies in Genshin Impact, teleport to the southern Coatepec Mountain Waypoint, and from there, move north to the lake close by to find the Obsidian Totem in the middle of the Mountain.
Obsidian Totem Location 5 In Genshin Impact - Atlatl's Blessing
The next Night’s Trial is Atlatl's Blessing in Genshin Impact. Teleport to the Ancient Watchtower Weapon Ascension Material Domain and keep going east until you reach a waterfall. You can clearly see that there’s a cave behind the waterfall protected by some weak enemies. Keep moving inside until you reach the lava.
Next to the dead end, there’s a Tepetlisaurus transformation that can help you move further inside the cave without falling victim to the cave’s strong current.
Obsidian Totem Location 6 In Genshin Impact - Cihuacoatl of Chimeric Bone
There are many ways to reach the Cihuacoatl of Chimeric Bone Night’s Trial in Genshin Impact since the Obsidian Totem is located on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere.
The easiest way to reach the last Obsidian Totem is by teleporting to the southwestern Teticpac Peak Waypoint underneath the Mountain. Transform to Yumkasaurus and jump to the wooden cliff on the other side.
Genshin Impact: Firethief’s Secret Isle Guide (Natlan Invisible Island)
Firethief’s Secret Isle is a hidden area in Natlan; players can collect Chests there, and an item required for a Luxurious Chest in Genshin Impact.
From there, take a leap of faith into nothing and turn right while in midair to find many Sigils you can connect to. Connect to one of them and keep using the Sigils to get up on top. Finally, the last Sigils can be apparent and all you have to do is to make another leap of faith to get closer before connecting to it.
Obsidian Totem Location 7 In Genshin Impact - Popato's Solidarity
Teleport to the Tezcatepetonco Range Waypoint east of the Statues of the Seven.
From there, move southeast descending the waterfall to find the Obsidian Totem. Inside that Totem, you’ll fight Popato's Solidarity who needs healing characters in Genshin Impact.
Obsidian Totem Location 8 In Genshin Impact - Tupayo's Aid
It's easy to find Tupayo's Aid in Genshin Impact. Teleport to the Quahuacan Cliff Statues of the Seven and climb the mountain to the west.
It’s right behind your character, and it has a mechanism that helps you reach the top quickly. The Obsidian Totem is on top of that mountain.
Obsidian Totem Location 9 In Genshin Impact - Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar
To reach Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar in Genshin Impact, teleport to the Tezcatepetonco Range Waypoint right under the reputation Obsidian Totem Pole of the Masters of the Night-Wind clan.
From the Waypoint, move west and climb the mountain in front of you. It’s better to bring a Children of Echoes character to help you climb faster, like Kachina Xilonen in Genshin Impact.
Obsidian Totem Location 10 In Genshin Impact - Ironbeard
For the Ironbeard’s Obsidian Totem in Genshin Impact, teleport to the reputation Obsidian Totem Pole of the Flower-Feather clan and keep moving east.
You’ll find the Ironbeard’s Obsidian Totem right after the hole that takes you to the Tenebrous Papilla Boss.
Obsidian Totem Location 11 In Genshin Impact - Reji
Reji’s Obsidian Totem resides southeast of Atocpan in Genshin Impact. Finding the Night’s Trial is as easy as fighting Reji. Teleport to the southeastern Waypoint in Atocpan and go north to find a lonely Obsidian Totem on the shore.
Obsidian Totem Location 12 In Genshin Impact - Tupu's Lushness
You can find Tupu's Lushness’ Obsidian Totem east of Atocpan in Genshin Impact. The Obsidian Totem is in the middle of nowhere with a couple of Tatankasaurus around it. Teleport to the eastern Atocpan Waypoint, right next to the Ancient Mountain Path Waypoint, and go north to find Tupu's Lushness and participate in its Night’s Trial.
