Lantern Rite is a yearly event in Genshin Impact, and there are always new mini-games to play during the celebration. Among the best parts of the occasion, however, is the fact that players will get any 4-star Liyue characters of their choice for free, making it easy to get the latest unit.
In Genshin Impact 4.4, players can play an interesting puzzle that features Guoba and Yuegui in a mini-game called Paper Shadows A-Foraging. The goal of this game is to move the two familiars so that they can collect an ingredient needed to make certain delicacies.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging Event Guide In Genshin Impact
There are a total of nine stages in the Paper Shadows A-Foraging event in Genshin Impact 4.4 Lantern Rite. Naturally, it gets more difficult the higher the stage, with the first three being a simple tutorial.
Stage 1 - Fragrant Mountain Delicacies
To guide Guoba to collect the Matsutake, simply move two squares to the right, three to the bottom, and two steps to the right again.
Stage 2 - Wandering Fowl Warm and Cool
To guide Yuegui to obtain Fowl in stage 2, first, push the box to collect the key, then simply walk to the Fowl.
Stage 3 - Sealed Flavors of the Sea
In stage 3, you must guide Guoba to collect the Fish. First, push the box to the right by taking the left route. Then, return to the cart and push the box further to the right until you touch the key. Afterward, take steps back to reach the Fish.
Stage 4 - Smoky Savoriness
In Stage 4 of the Paper Shadows A-Foraging event in Genshin Impact, players must guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Ham together. To do this, follow these steps:
- Use Guoba to move the left box to the top square.
- Move Guoba to push the right box once.
- Walk with Yuegui to push the box towards the key.
- Guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Ham together.
Stage 5 - Eight Treasured Flavors
Meanwhile, in Stage 5, it's Fowl that you must guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain. Here's how you can solve this puzzle:
- Use Guoba to push the box to get the blue key above the red thorns.
- Move Yuegui to push the nearest box until it's positioned right above the red key.
- Walk with Guoba to claim the red key.
- Use Yuegui to move the box on the upper side now that the red thorn is gone.
- Touch the green key with Yuegui.
- Guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Fowl together.
Stage 6 - Intricately Stuffed
Similar to Stage 4, players must guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Ham together. The solution to this Paper Shadows A-Foraging riddle is as follows:
- Push the box on the left with Yuegui so that it's accessible to Guoba.
- Use Guoba to push the box down.
- Keep moving forward and taking steps back with Guoba until the box touches the blue key.
- Move Guoba to push the lower box to the right, then move the upper box towards Yuegui.
- Take a detour with Guoba and push the box to the right, opening the road for Yuegui.
- Push the box with Yuegui until it touches the red key.
- Guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Ham together.
Stage 7 - Glazed Ablaze
Stage 7 is a simple tutorial that tells you that you can now push a cart if the character is inside it. To complete the Glazed Ablaze stage, simply push Guoba and Yuegui's cart away from each other, take the key, then walk to the Fowl together.
Stage 8 - Slow Steamed Succulent
Stage 8 is more complicated as players have to mind their positioning. To complete Slow Steamed Succulent in Genshin Impact Paper Shadows A-Foraging event, follow these steps:
- Push the box near Yuegui so that it's right next to Guoba.
- Use Guoba to touch the blue key using the box.
- Push Yuegui's cart one box to the left so that Yuegui can reach the red key. Remember that Yuegui must be inside the cart.
- Move Guoba's cart one box down so that both Yuegui and Guoba can obtain the Matsutake together.
Stage 9 - Juicy, Just Juicy
The final stage of the Genshin Impact Paper Shadows A-Foraging event is called Juicy, Just Juicy, and it's of course the most complex riddle compared to the rest. Here's the solution to this puzzle:
- Take the blue key using Yuegui.
- Use Guoba to push the box down until it hits a tree.
- Push the box with Yuegui until it touches the green key.
- Shift Yuegui's cart one box to the left so that Yuegui can push Guoba's cart to the right.
- Walk with Guoba to the red key.
- Shift Yuegui's cart to the right, then push Guoba's cart to the left.
- Push Yuegui's cart to the right once more so that Yuegui can reach the ingredients.
- Guide Guoba and Yuegui to obtain the Fish together.
