A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed tons of information about the Pyro version of the main character, also known as the Traveler. At the start of each Genshin Impact playthrough, players must choose whether Aether and Lumine will be their main character for their journey through the world of Teyvat.
Genshin Impact's combat system allows players to combine up to seven elements to trigger various elemental reactions, which provide different effects on the field, from freezing enemies to amplifying damage output. At the moment, the Traveler is the only character in the game who can control different elemental types, but not at the same time.
With the arrival of every major nation, Genshin Impact introduces a different form for the Traveler, allowing them to control a new element, which is always the symbolic element of the newly added region. The most recent major update added the long-awaited Natlan region, also known as the Pyro nation. While HoYoverse has already introduced a couple of characters, the Traveler has yet to receive their Pyro powers. However, over the last couple of weeks, multiple leaks have hinted at the Traveler’s new form and when it might arrive. According to a post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, players can use the Pyro version of the Traveler with maxed-out constellation levels once they finish the Archon Quest in Genshin Impact Version 5.3.

It should be noted that this leak should be taken with a grain of salt, considering that the post is flagged as "Questionable." To get more confirmation, players will need to wait for the 5.3 beta to drop. Many fans in the comment section hope that the Pyro Traveler will have a viable kit that fits the current Genshin Impact meta. Despite being the main character, players usually don't use the Traveler in their main team compositions, as many four-star characters can outperform them, especially in the support role.
While fans seem eager to see the Pyro Traveler in action, it's safe to say that most are more excited about the introduction of the Pyro Archon, Mavuika, to the roster. Mavuika is rumored to arrive in Genshin Impact update 5.3, and she is expected to be featured in the first banner phase, which should drop around January 1, at least going by HoYoverse's usual update schedule.
Similar to the previously introduced Archons, Mavuika is expected to be a flexible five-star character in Genshin Impact, able to adapt to almost any team composition that needs Pyro application. While HoYoverse has yet to confirm her weapon type, Genshin Impact's cutscenes have already hinted that Mavuika will be a claymore user.
