An interesting Genshin Impact chart has revealed an unexpected sales difference between the two currently available five-star characters: the Electro user Ineffa and Natlan's Cryo support, Citlali. Genshin Impact's double banners have become a standard over the last couple of years, and this gacha mechanic allows players to pull for two different characters at the same time.
Each Genshin Impact update includes two separate banner cycles, each featuring two limited five-star units and three four-star characters. HoYoverse has followed an interesting pattern of including at least one new five-star character per update, with Ineffa being the most recent addition. She appeared in the first banner cycle of Genshin Impact Version 5.8.

Genshin Impact Reveals Unexpected Sales Difference Between Ineffa and Citlali
A recent Genshin Impact chart, based on data from the credible website Paimon.moe, revealed the sales difference between Ineffa and Citlali. Even though Ineffa is the new character, more players actually pulled for Citlali on this banner. According to the data, Citlali accounted for around 55% of the banner’s pulls. This is quite unusual, as new characters in Genshin Impact are almost always the most pulled units on each banner. One of the main reasons many players likely skipped Ineffa's banner is that her release came during the final update before the launch of a major new region. As a result, many players may have chosen to save their Primogems. Ineffa is a new Electro polearm user best suited for the sub-DPS role.
Ineffa's kit revolves around a new elemental reaction in Genshin Impact called Lunar-Charged, which can only be triggered if she is in the party. Similar to Electro-Charged, the new reaction is triggered by applying Hydro to a target affected by Electro, or vice versa. However, Lunar-Charged allows players to summon a thundercloud that continuously releases bursts of lightning, dealing Electro damage periodically. This reaction makes Ineffa a unique character who requires a specific team composition to reach her full damage potential. There is a chance that future characters will be tailored to support her playstyle, with the prime candidate being her creator, Aino.
Aino has already been introduced in the game and is expected to join the playable roster in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 6.0. Many fans suspect that she will also play a key role in introducing the Traveler to the new Nod-Krai region. Another likely reason Citlali attracted more sales is that players already know what they are getting when pulling for her. She is the go-to support for some of the most powerful DPS characters in Genshin Impact, such as the Pyro Archon Mavuika, the Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino, and the Hydro dragon Neuvillette.
