Guhua Clan is likely not a stranger to Genshin Impact players as one of the best characters in the game, Xingqiu, is the disciple of this once-prestigious group. However, with the decline of the youngster’s interest and likely the lack of noble acts to do, the clan is currently dying.
Therefore, when players visit the supposed headquarters of the Guhua Clan, they’ll find it in shambles. Although you won’t get to restore the place as part of your adventure, completing the A Wangshan Walk to Remember and Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest in Genshin Impact allows you to see behind-the-scenes of the Guhua Clan and its preceding masters.

Teaching a merchant about the preference of their Sumpter Beast in the Chili Con Cloudy grants the Swift Acceptance achievement in Genshin Impact.
How To Trigger Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero Quest In Genshin Impact
To trigger the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest in Genshin Impact, players must go through with A Wangshan Walk To Remember mission first. A Wangshan Walk To Remember is the start of the questline, and Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero is the final mission of the chain.
To trigger A Wangshan Walk To Remember quest in Genshin Impact, there are three methods:
- Head to the area south of Mt. Lingmeng and approach the Wangshan Hall, a place with a large stone gate. Knock on the door.
- Head to the area south of Mt. Lingmeng and find the Wangshan Hall, a place with a large stone gate. Speak to the man outside, Wen the Fourth to start the mission.
- Find Huang the Third at Yilong Wharf.
After speaking to Wen the Fourth, he’ll walk away to fetch a more senior member of the Guhua Clan. Once both of them arrive, the old man says that he needs to test the Traveler’s ability to see if they’re worthy to enter Wangshan Hall or not. So whichever method players choose, Huang the Third will end up being the tour guide in the mission.
The two "trials" are rather silly, where players must jump from pole to pole in the first test, while the second task demands them to destroy dummies in red and leave the ones in blue. Even if you fail the tasks, for instance, if you fall into the water in the first trial, Huang the Third will still praise you, indicating something fishy is going on.
Eventually, Huang the Third will allow you to go inside, and he’ll show you around Wangshan Hall. First, in the weaponry section, you can check out old and worn-out pieces of equipment along with destroying more red dummies for a Genshin Impact Common Chest.
Next, he shows a place with a stone tablet and an incense table. Here, players can make an offering by placing an apple, which will summon a squirrel, and investigate a box. However, upon trying to open the box, Huang the Third will stop you.
If players are curious about what the box hides, it’s Huang the Third’s ledger for the maintenance of Wangshan Hall. This item can be obtained once the old man leaves the Hall.
Soon enough, Huang the Third admits his schemes to lure tourists into the place so that he can keep it alive. He apologizes for what he did and offers players the chance to explore Wangshan Hall’s Arcane Archive to make it up.
From here, you need to open the gate with the key Huang gave you, then explore deeper until you find "Guhua Notes" that’s hidden behind a spider web. After reading the notes, you must find the secret stashed in the Arcane Archive in Genshin Impact, which can be done by utilizing Elemental Sight and moving colored scrolls to their same-colored shelf.
After finding the secret stashed in the Arcane Archive, the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest will start. Head further inside and complete the Guhua trials to earn a Luxurious Chest and open the way to the end of Wangshan Hall.
Finally, the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest ends with players obtaining 30 Primogems and the Guhua Fish & Lamb Soup recipe. Here, you’ll also get to investigate the first Ancient Swordsman’s Inscription in Genshin Impact. If you find all five Ancient Swordsman’s Inscriptions, you’ll earn an achievement along with four Chests in total.
