One of the most fascinating and important characters in the lore of Genshin Impact is Skirk, a Cryo sword character from somewhere beyond Teyvat. She serves as Childe's master, and a massive lore-bomber during the Fontaine Archon Quest.

Where to Find All of Skirk's Materials
Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade
There are several ways of obtaining each elemental gem, but the best and most reliable method is to defeat the bosses who can drop the right ones. For Shivada Jade, the Cryo gem, players will want to farm the rewards of the following bosses:

- La Signora (Narukami Island: Tenshukaku)
*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Shivada Jade when infused with Cryo during the battle

Local Specialty - Where to Find Skysplit Gembloom
A local specialty of Natlan, Skysplit Gemblooms are a strange rock-like flower that Skirk uses in her ascension. These flowers can only be found in two places: inside the Ancient Sacred Mountain, and dotted around Atocpan near the Children of Echoes.
Luckily, a few more can be obtained every few days by growing them in the Serenitea Pot.

Skysplit Gembloom is a local specialty from Atocpan, Natlan, and can be used to ascend certain characters in Genshin Impact.
Boss Drop - How to Get Ensnaring Gaze
Players hoping to ascend Skirk will need to defeat the same boss who drops an ascension item for Chasca and Iansan: the Tenebrous Papilla. The item it drops is called the Ensnaring Gaze, and Skirk will need quite a few of them.
This boss is found near the Masters of the Night-Wind, in a cave underground. It can be a difficult boss, so be sure to come prepared.

Beating Tenebrous Papilla boss in Genshin Impact is the easiest with Natlan characters, but a barrage of Elemental hits works too.
Enemy Drop - Where to Find Meka Gears
Interestingly, Skirk only uses one item that can't be obtained in Natlan: Meka Gears. These common enemy drops can only be found in Fontaine, as it's the only place Clockwork Meka enemies can be found.

Players having trouble farming these gears can also consider buying them from Paimon's Bargains, or converting Clockwork fish that they've caught.
Genshin Impact: Clockwork Meka Locations
Clockwork Meka are robots of Genshin Impact Fontaine that typically guard the citizens, but there are also people who use them for no good.
Talent Books - Contention
Returning back to Natlan, Skirk's talent books can only be found in the Blazing Ruins domain. The Contention series is available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Knowing the schedule for some of Genshin Impact's Domains can help players collect certain items relatively painlessly.
Trounce Materials - Ascended Sample: Knight
The Game Before the Gate is a Mondstadt trounce domain unlocked after the Paralogism quest. One of the possible rewards for clearing this domain is the Ascended Sample: Knight, which can be used in Skirk's upper-level talent upgrades.
Players who have not yet finished this quest and unlocked the trounce domain can instead use the Quick Challenge function, unlocked at AR40. Unfortunately, it can only be used in solo mode.
