Summary
- Genshin Impact will host a Special Program Announcement on June 6 at 8:00 AM (UTC-4).
- The livestream will feature a deep dive into Version 5.7, including an overview of its featured banners.
- Many fans believe that Skirk will be in the first half, while Shenhe will headline the second half.
Genshin Impact is set to host its Special Program Announcement on June 6, 2025, during which players will get a detailed overview of the upcoming patch, as well as a potential teaser of Nod-Krai. Though Natlan has had a rather unorthodox content cycle, the second half of the region seems to be unusually stacked with Archon Quests. Version 5.6 took Genshin Impact players back to Mondstadt for the next chapter of its storyline, while Version 5.7 will feature Dainsleif in Natlan.
The Archon Quest in Version 5.7 will seemingly further the Abyss Order plot, and the players may even end up reuniting with an old villain in Genshin Impact. However, perhaps the biggest draw of the update is the possibility of it introducing some story elements from Nod-Krai, a new character, or even the Wild Hunt itself. While players will get to find out for themselves on June 18, 2025, the developers have also prepared a livestream that will hopefully answer some of their questions.
Genshin Impact Leaks Updated Banner Character List for 5.7
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals an updated list of limited characters that will be featured in the upcoming banners for Version 5.7.
The Special Program Announcement for Version 5.7 will take place on June 6, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC-4). It will be hosted on the official Twitch and YouTube channels for Genshin Impact, and will feature a deep dive into Version 5.7, including an overview of its featured banners. Assuming no last-minute changes occur in the beta, the banner characters for Genshin Impact in Version 5.7 will be: Skirk, Emilie, Mavuika, and Shenhe. The exact order remains unknown, but there is a strong belief that Skirk will be in the first half, while Shenhe will headline the second half.
Genshin Impact: Version 5.7 Livestream Could Feature a Nod-Krai Teaser
Given the precedent set by Fontaine and Natlan, there is a very strong possibility of HoYoverse teasing the next Genshin Impact region at the end of the livestream. While Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact has gotten a ton of love from the marketing department, the developers have yet to lift the curtains on the next region of Teyvat. An exploration teaser of Nod-Krai could be due for a tease during the livestream, with a proper trailer likely coming out in Version 5.8.
From a gameplay standpoint, the highlight of Version 5.7 will be the debut of Dahlia and Skirk in Genshin Impact, with the latter also receiving her first Story Quest. Unfortunately, many Genshin Impact players have been underwhelmed by Dahlia's ability kit, as they worry that the Hydro 4-Star lacks any identity beyond being a cheap Support for Skirk. As for Skirk herself, she is expected to be a powerful Cryo hypercarry, albeit one exclusively locked into Freeze teams featuring Escoffier and Furina.
