Similar to many other open-world games, Genshin Impact has various systems when it comes to characters and their mobility when exploring. Stamina in the game represents the strength and duration a character can accumulate in one setting.
Genshin Impact: Ochkanatlan Pyroculus Locations
Once Genshin Impact players unlock the lore behind Ochkanatlan, they can also explore the region and collect all the Pyroculus.
It’s a crucial resource in Genshin Impact and especially vital to enhance early on in the game. Running around Teyvat can be especially difficult if you don’t have enough stamina, since any activity easily depletes it and your character will die if you’re in a particularly sticky situation.
How To Increase Stamina In Genshin Impact
The only way Genshin Impact players can increase stamina is through leveling up their Statue of the Seven. As of Version 5.0, the game was optimized to allow players to increase their stamina using any Statue of the Seven in Teyvat. The current limit is 240, and players can level up their Statues by collecting Oculi. Each region has their corresponding Oculi, so all players need to do is collect Oculi whenever they see them and then feed them to the Statue.
You need to click on the Statue of Seven and then choose the option ‘Worship Statue” to do this.
What Is Stamina Used For In Genshin Impact?
Stamina is used for just about everything in Genshin Impact, and that’s why it’s highly sought after. Whenever players use moves such as dashing, climbing, flying, charged attack, and swimming, they consume a set amount of stamina. Since using attack patterns consume stamina, it’s important to raise it as fast as you can because encountering a situation where you run out of stamina during a fight can make it difficult to swiftly dodge.
The same can be said about any overworld exploration activity like swimming or climbing, because sprinting during these activities drains your stamina faster. If you do encounter such a situation where you have to travel long distances but are running out of stamina, just remember to take it slow and not waste your stamina by getting there in a hurry.
Additionally, players should note that stamina is shared between all party members. Just because you switch to a new character, doesn’t mean you get a new bar of stamina to use. Players should keep this in mind when fighting enemies on higher difficulties, as running out of stamina could very well mean losing your life. There are, however, some characters who reduce stamina through their passive talent, but it’s not always smart to rely on them. Players should just focus on collecting all the Oculi in every region to increase their stamina and not worry about running out of breath.
