A new teaser from Genshin Impact is hinting at the appearance of a major character within the Version 6.2 update, teasing one of the Five Sinners of Kha'enriah. As the Nod-Krai cycle kicks off, HoYoverse has given fans plenty to be excited about from the newest region's story, bringing in some of Teyvat's most notable factions. Teasers for Genshin Impact's seventh playable region have hinted at major organizations like the Fatui, Knights of Favonius, and even the Hexenzirkel being involved, bringing in multiple characters from past regions. Now, one long-rumored character is set to make his debut.
Among the most mysterious elements of Genshin Impact's main story are the legends and lore surrounding the fallen kingdom of Khaenri'ah. Genshin Impact's "Interlude" Archon Quests typically focus heavily on Khaenri'ah, with frequent supporting character Dainsleif serving as one of the only living inhabitants of the kingdom. The fall of Khaenri'ah is also heavily connected to the story of the Traveler, linking to the story of the Traveler's sibling and holding heavy implications for Genshin Impact's future story. A new teaser is now hinting at another Kha'enriah character making their first appearance.
Genshin Impact Leak Teases New Buffs to Older Characters
Recent information from Genshin Impact is hinting at multiple new buffs coming to some of the game's oldest playable characters.
A new post shared to Genshin Impact's official social media accounts gives players a further teaser about the upcoming appearance of "Racher of Solnari," also referred to as Rerir. The unexpected teaser takes the form of one of Genshin Impact's "drip marketing posts," teasing the "sins" of Rerir's past and hinting at his "obsession" as one of Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners. The post notably does not contain any information about gameplay details, suggesting that HoYoverse is teasing his involvement with Genshin Impact's story rather than a playable debut. Genshin Impact's Version 6.2 is scheduled to release on December 3.
Genshin Impact Teases Rerir for Version 6.2
The surprise teaser for Rerir comes as the character has already made a brief appearance during the recently-launched Version 6.1 update. Rerir appears as a major antagonist within the update, with Dainsleif also making his first appearance in the Archon Quest outside the typical "Interlude" chapters. Genshin Impact has also already seen multiple playable characters linked to Khaenri'ah, with starter character Kaeya being a descendant of a clan from Khaenri'ah and Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino hailing from Khaenri'ah.
Genshin Impact's Version 6.2 looks to have plenty of exciting content on the way for Nod-Krai's second post-launch update. HoYoverse has already revealed the playable characters coming in the "Luna 2" update, including two long-awaited cast members in Durin and Jahoda. Genshin Impact also recently added its newest game mode, with the user-generated content-focused Miliastra Wonderland game mode likely receiving more content in Version 6.2. Fans of Genshin Impact should have lots to look forward to as HoYoverse dives deeper into the Nod-Krai region.
