The Tezcatepetonco Range in Genshin Impact is home to the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. The area also includes Tecoloapan Bay, which is a hidden island that can only be unlocked through completing a lengthy quest.

Genshin Impact players can earn this hidden achievement by correctly identifying the Qucusaurus in Muepu's challenge.
The sub-region has 20 Pyroculus for collecting, and most of them are fairly easy to find. This guide will list all the locations and how to collect them. It might also help Genshin Impact players to bring along a character from Natlan to help in their exploration due to the high mountains and large gaps between the rocks.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 1
To start off the route, head to the teleport waypoint northwest of the Stadium of Sacred Flame and then fly across the canyon in front of you. The Pyroculus will be located in the air on top of a deck that is attached to the cliff.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 2
This Pyroculus will be part of a challenge that will be located directly in front of the teleport waypoint. Just start the challenge and use the Iktomisaurus in the area to manipulate the wind currents.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 3
This Pyroculus will be perched on top of a thin rock, so if you just teleport to the waypoint indicated above, turn around and jump off the cliff to head all the way down to collect it. If you haven’t unlocked that waypoint, feel free to use the Statue of Seven and head down the path toward it.

To collect this Pyroculus, you can teleport to the same waypoint as previously done and fly across, since the oculi will be perpendicular to it on the other side of the cliff. You can also use an Iktomisaurus skill or use a Natlan character like Ororon to help you climb the rock that the Pyroculus will be floating on.

Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 5
From the previous point, simply head upstream toward the waterfall you see to the north of the map. You can also use the teleport waypoint located in the image above and simply fly over. The Pyroculus will be floating on a rock.

Next, head south of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe area and use the teleport waypoint southwest of the Statue of Seven. From there, head straight toward the edge of the cliff until you see the Pyroculus floating.

This Pyroculus can be collected directly after the previous one as it’s quite closeby. It will be in the Scorchwind Trial Grounds. The Pyroculus will be inside one of the rings/hoops directly opposite the entrance.

For this Pyroculus, you can teleport to the waypoint indicated above or head there from the previously collected oculi. It will be located near the edge of the cliff in a gap between the rocks. It’s pretty easy to spot once you head that way.

Teleport the main waypoint at the base of the Masters of the Night-Wind and head across the bridge behind you. The Pyroculus will be on the roof of the structure to your right, and you might need to use the wind current to help climb it.

Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 10
To grab this one, teleport to the waypoint at the base of the Masters of the Night-Wind and head halfway across the bridge before jumping off. The Pyroculus will be on top of some rocks at the bottom.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 11
This Pyroculus is at the very top of the Masters of the Night-Wind, near the highest teleportation waypoint. Simply climb the structure to your right, and the Pyroculus will be inside it.

From the previous point, you can fly across to grab this Pyroculus as it will be located on a hot air balloon just a few meters away. There will also be some enemies to fight and a chest to claim as well.

This Pyroculus is also within the vicinity, so just fly across the canyon and toward the waterfall in front of you. The Pyroculus will be floating in the air before you.

Head all the way back down to the south of the sub-region, and this Pyroculus will be directly in front of the southernmost teleport waypoint.

From the previous point, fly all the way toward the shore, and you’ll spot some trees growing. The Pyroculus will be at the top of one of the trees, and you may need to indwell a Qucusaurus to get it. You can also choose to climb the trunk instead.

To make things easier, teleport to the above-indicated waypoint and head up the path to your left. The Pyroculus will be on top of a fallen tree log.

Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 17
From the previous point, keep heading up the hill, and if you haven’t unlocked the following cave, follow the monetoo to do so. Once inside, complete the puzzle, and if you head into the hole below you, there will be a Pyroculus for collection.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 18
This Pyroculus can be found at a camp, so just head there from any nearby teleportation waypoint to grab it.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 19
This Pyroculus can only be found at Tecoloapan Bay, so Genshin Impact players will have to first unlock the region through the quest to obtain it. You can head to the teleport waypoint in the area and head straight up to grab the Pyroculus.
Tezcatepetonco Range Pyroculus 20
The final Pyroculus in the area is quite a walkaway, so from the teleport waypoint, just run to the area indicated above, and you’ll be able to find it on the roof of a hilichurl camp. You don’t need to climb any cliffs for this one, so just stick to the shore.
