In the Wake of Narcissus is a quest series in Genshin Impact that consists of four Acts. The Thalia and Melpomene is the last Orthant's puzzle in the Search in the Algae Sea World Quest in Genshin Impact. It is located in the Sealed Ruined Tower Orthant of Persona Cave. To arrive at the Thalia and Melpomene Orthant’s puzzle location, follow these steps:
- Teleport to the Morte Region's southern underwater Waypoint.
- Swim east toward the underwater Wilderness Cavern.
- Inside the Cavern, proceed forward until the Orthant of Persona's sealed door appears.
- Enter the Orthant of Persona.
How To Solve The Thalia and Melpomene Orthant’s Puzzle
To solve the Thalia and Melpomene Orthant’s puzzle in Genshin Impact, Travelers need to:
- Release the water-colored energy from the Energy Flow mechanic.
- Keep walking inside the cave to reach the second mechanic.
- Release its energy.
- Follow the released energy flow to reach the lift.
- Take the lift to the upper floor.
- Unleash the energy from the lift's mechanic.
- Go toward the large machine in the middle.
- Swim under it to reach the sealed lift.
- Go right.
- Borrow the Xenochromatic Crab Ability.
- Use the ability to destroy the rock in front of the Feather Valve.
- Defeat the spawned enemies in Genshin Impact.
- Pick up the two Receiver Nodes.
- Destroy the rock behind the Feather Valve to reveal the Energy Flow mechanic.
- Break the rock to the left of the Valve to free the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus.
- Borrow its ability.
- Place the Receiver Nodes on the Operable Mechanism: Feather Valve.
- Use the Octopus ability to rotate the Valve and align the energy flow with the channel's direction.
- Release the energy from the mechanic behind the Valve.
- Swim toward the Energy Flow mechanic on top of the bridge.
- Activate it.
- Collect the spawned Exquisite chest in Genshin Impact.
- Open the locked door.
- Follow the energy flow channel.
- Defeat the Clockwork Mek waves to unlock the lift door.
- Open the Precious chest.
- Grab the Special Key from the library's shelf.
- Take the lift to the upper floor.
- Release its energy flow.
After releasing the lift’s mechanical energy toward the large machine, players can unlock the door beside the lift with the Special Key to get a Luxurious chest. Upon collecting the hidden treasure, Travelers should do the following to solve the Orthant of Persona puzzle in Genshin Impact:
- Unlock the sealed exit.
- Go toward the large machine in the middle.
Upon reaching the machine, a cutscene will play and a Luxurious chest and the Persona piece will be rewarded to players for solving the Thalia and Melpomene Orthant’s puzzle. Note that the Persona piece is just a Quest Item used during the Search in the Algae Sea World Quest in Genshin Impact.
