As an existing character within the Genshin Impact universe, it's easy to decide whether or not to pull for an Ayaka rerun. Ayaka, the Daughter of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan, is one of the most influential characters in Genshin Impact.
She holds the title of Shirasagi Himegimi and is beloved by all the people of Inazuma. For Genshin Impact players, Ayaka is a solid meta choice for Frozen teams and can hold her own in many team compositions.
Is It Worth Pulling For Ayaka In Genshin Impact?
Yes, Ayaka is one of the best characters in Genshin Impact, and it's definitely worth pulling for her since she's a powerful yet simple DPS. Players can rely on Ayaka to carry their entire team through difficult Genshin Impact content such as the Spiral Abyss.
Ayaka Is Fancy
Ayaka could benefit from more options when it comes to choosing the best sword for her in Genshin Impact. Even with her best 4-star sword, the Amenoma Kageuchi, which is a forgeable weapon, she can't perform as well as any of her other 5-star sword options. To fully take advantage of Ayaka's DMG and make pulling for her worthwhile, players must have at least one of Ayaka's best weapons in Genshin Impact.
As for artifacts, Ayaka's best option is easily a 4pc Blizzard Strayer. Unfortunately, for this part, no other sets can come close to this four-piece set.
Ayaka Is Easy To Play
It's very easy to play and build Ayaka in Genshin Impact. Her kit allows her to fit into many team compositions and excel as the best unit. Unlike other Sword users in Genshin Impact, Ayaka has easy access to Cryo DMG throughout the entire combat duration. Additionally, Ayaka doesn't necessarily need Battery Support because she generates a decent amount of particles from her Elemental Skill, which helps her regenerate her Burst faster.
On top of all that, Ayaka's best artifact set, 4pc Blizzard Strayer, grants her up to a 40% CRIT Rate that can be further increased by having Cryo Resonance on her team. All of these put players in a very comfortable position to spam more CRIT DMG from the artifacts' main and sub-stats.
Her Burst Is Complicated
A large part of Ayaka's DMG comes from her Elemental Burst, which is where the learning curve comes in. The main challenge for players when using Ayaka is hitting her Elemental Burst, because once it misses the target, Ayaka will lose a massive amount of DPS. Therefore, it's crucial to learn how and where to cast Ayaka's Burst.
Fortunately, her Burst will stop moving if the enemy is Frozen, which further emphasizes the importance of 4pc Blizzard Strayer in a permafreeze comp.
Ayaka Strengths And Weaknesses
To summarize, here are Ayaka's strengths and weaknesses in Genshin Impact:
Ayaka’s Strengths

- Not a selfish DPS since her Cryo Infusion can be obtained easily
- All of Ayaka's hits can hit inside Venti's vortex, making her great in a Morgana team comp

Ayaka’s Weaknesses
- Burst is hard to use outside permafreeze comp
- Performance decreases significantly with F2P weapons
- Charged Attack and dash may cause stamina issue
