The trial of Phantasmal Seed, or the Phantasmal Gate challenge, in Genshin Impact is a small puzzle that can be found in several spots in Sumeru. The first time players do this challenge will probably be in The World of Aranara World Quest, where the protagonist has to go through this test to gain the trust of the Aranara in Vanarana.
After finishing the trial of the Phantasmal Seed, players will get to move to the Dream Vanarana by playing Arana’s tune in front of the Silapna. Unfortunately, the challenge can take a while if players are stuck in the wrong place. Therefore, this article will provide the information needed to finish the trial of the Phantasmal Seed in Genshin Impact.
How To Complete The Trial Of The Phantasmal Seed In Genshin Impact
To complete the trial of Phantasmal Seed, Genshin Impact Travelers need to collect 15 Phantasmal Seeds in the given time. The following tips will help ease the task:
- Don’t get hit by enemies. Getting hit will significantly reduce the timer.
- Utilize the Dream Flowers. Hitting the flower with Electro will highlight the Seeds with a white glow, making them easier to find. Standing in the flower’s barrier will also cause the enemies to stop attacking the players.
- Don’t run out of stamina. Make sure to not fully deplete the stamina as it’ll be needed to dodge the enemy’s attacks.
- Don’t fight the enemies.
After understanding the following tips, place an Electro character on the team (preferably Genshin Impact Catalyst users like 
Lisa or 
Yae Miko), and start the trial.
In the beginning, the Seeds will be highlighted, so make sure to keep track of them. Afterward, continue walking and hitting the Dream Flowers on the way to highlight the remaining Seeds.
Note that some of the Phantasmal Seeds are located outside of the Vanarana area. Don’t hesitate to walk around the border of the orange circle and make sure to utilize the Four-Leaf Sigils to make the travel faster.
After collecting the 15 Phantasmal Seeds, go back to the Gate and offer them. This will end the task and reward players with a Precious Chest. The Genshin Impact Chest contains:

How To Activate The Strange Arch (Phantasmal Gate) In Sumeru
The Strange Arch can be found in several places in Sumeru. Players can activate the Gate by using the 
Vintage Lyre in front of it and playing the Rhythm of the Great Dream. The Vintage Lyre is given by grandpa Amadhiah, while the Rhythm of the Great Dream is taught by Arana.
Both of these requirements are a part of the Aranyaka: Part I - Woodland Encounter World Quest, so Travelers have to go through this first before being able to do the trial of the Phantasmal Seed in Genshin Impact.
