Genshin Impact has officially revealed the seven limited items that will be featured on the upcoming weapon banner for update 3.3. The game's official social media accounts already confirmed the arrival of two new characters, the Anemo users Wanderer and Faruzan.
While Wanderer is confirmed to be a new five-star character, Faruzan will have a lower four-star rarity which allowed HoYoverse to put them on the same Genshin Impact banner. This means that in order to acquire both characters, players will need to spend their Primogems on only one banner.
Weapons play a huge role in building a Genshin Impact character and unlike artifacts that can be acquired in various domains, players usually need to pull on one of the limited banners to get a strong weapon. Each update in the game includes at least two weapon banners that feature two five-star and five four-star items. The official live stream for Genshin Impact version 3.3 confirmed that the new update will feature only one new weapon. According to the game's official Twitter account, the upcoming update will offer the following items:
- Tulaytullah's Remembrance - five-star catalyst
- Redhorn Stonethresher - five-star claymore
- Sacrificial Sword - four-star sword
- Favonious Greatsword - four-star claymore
- Eye of Perception - four-star catalyst
- Wavebreaker's Fin - four-star polearm
- Favonious Warbow - four-star bow
The only new weapon in the update, Tulaytuallah's Remembrance, will serve as the signature catalyst for the upcoming Anemo user Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche. Players who want to acquire the new five-star character should definitely try to get their hands on this weapon as well as it has the potential to take his damage output to the next level. Besides having Crit Damage as its secondary stat, the catalyst's passive effect also increases Normal Attack damage after the weapon holder activates his Elemental Skill, which is perfect for Wanderer's playstyle.
The main reason why Redhorn Stonethresher is part of this banner is probably that Arataki Itto will also be a part of the upcoming double banner. This weapon is made for the leader of the Arataki gang, meaning that players who don't have Itto in their party should probably skip this item and save up some previous Primogems for the next banner cycle.
Players seem very happy with the upcoming limited characters and weapons, at least according to the comment section. When it comes to the four-star weapons, Favonious Warbow and Wavebreaker's Fin are great items for main or sub-DPS characters in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
