Genshin Impact has revealed its new redemption codes featured in the most recent Special Program event for Version 5.5. Approximately 10–12 days before each new update arrives, Genshin Impact hosts a livestream event that showcases the majority of the upcoming content, including new characters.
Developer HoYoverse has previously confirmed that the new update will introduce two new characters, Varesa and Iansan, both of whom belong to the famous Collective of Plenty tribe. This tribe is the only one among the six Natlan tribes that has yet to be revealed in the game, meaning that a new quest line will likely be tied to this part of the Pyro nation.

A Genshin Impact artist creates an impressive concept in which they reimagine the popular Cryo bow user Ganyu as a Pokemon trainer.
The most recent Special Program event has unveiled a wealth of new content, including three new livestream codes that grant players a substantial number of Primogems. Each code provides 100 Primogems along with additional enhancement materials that can be used to strengthen new or existing characters. Primogems are widely regarded as the most important currency in the game, as they allow Travelers to pull on the Limited Character Banner. With the launch of Genshin Impact Version 5.5, players will have the chance to obtain a new character, as HoYoverse has confirmed that Varesa will be featured in the first banner cycle, expected to arrive around March 26. Iansan will also be available at the same time, as both characters will be placed on the same banner.

According to the livestream gameplay demonstration, Varesa will be a new main DPS character in Genshin Impact, with a kit centered around using Plunging Attacks, which are not commonly emphasized in the game. Varesa can earn Nightsoul points by using her Plunging Attack, and reaching a certain amount will significantly increase the damage output of her next attack. Most of Varesa's damage will come from combining her Elemental Skill, Charged Attack, and Plunging Attack.
HoYoverse also hinted that Varesa will have strong synergy with her teacher, Iansan, who has been confirmed as a new Genshin Impact Electro user. In terms of rerun characters, Varesa will be joined by Xianyun in the first banner cycle. The second half of the update will feature the fan-favorite Xilonen alongside Venti.
Players who missed Xilonen’s last banner appearance may be eager to pull for her now, considering that she has proven to be one of, if not the best, Natlan support character in Genshin Impact. While new character releases are usually the highlight of each update, the new region will also introduce a brand-new subregion. This new area of Natlan will include several iconic locations, including the Great Volcano of Tollan.
