Thanks to a recent leak, the Genshin Impact community finally has information about the Event Banners for Version 5.1. Though Xilonen's debut in Genshin Impact was long anticipated to arrive in Version 5.1, the featured 5-Stars accompanying her remained a mystery. Names such as Wriothesley and Shenhe were thrown around as speculation, due to the amount of time since their previous appearances, or because of their role in the Imaginarium Theater, as was the case with Wriothesley.
While fans put forward a list of strong arguments as to why certain characters would return to the Event Banners in Version 5.1, Eula in Genshin Impact has proven that the developers are willing to shelve even limited 5-Stars for well over a year. With characters such as Kachina and Xilonen introducing new layers to the Geo element in Genshin Impact, and with Citlali scheduled for Version 5.3, it makes sense that HoYoverse is going in a different direction for Version 5.1.
Genshin Impact Leaks Version 5.1 Weapons
A recent Genshin Impact leak reveals four new weapons, which will reportedly be available to claim in the version 5.1 update next month.
The first half of the patch will see Xilonen paired with Chiori on the Event Banners, while the second half of Version 5.1 will be headlined by Nahida and Hu Tao. The information was shared by ukrisreng, a regular contributor on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit. Xilonen in Genshin Impact is one of the most anticipated characters of the Natlan era, as she will provide insane buffs, elemental resistance shred, and single target healing wrapped up in a unique Geo package.
Genshin Impact Version 5.1 Banner Characters
- Xilonen – 5-Star Geo Sword
- Chiori – 5-Star Geo Sword
- Nahida – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Hu Tao – 5-Star Pyro Polearm
An important thing to note is that Xilonen paired with Chiori means that the Weapon Banner will have tremendous value for players wanting to obtain a 5-Star sword for the upcoming Geo Support. While the new crafted weapon in Genshin Impact is a decent option for Xilonen, the Uraku Misugiri is a universal choice for any Sword user that scales with DEF. On the other hand, Nahida and Hu Tao come with powerful signature weapons as well, with the Staff of Homa being ideal for characters such as Zhongli and Xiangling.
Version 5.1 is expected to launch on October 9, 2024, and though its Event Banners will be stacked with desirable 5-Star characters, Genshin Impact players will be able to obtain a sizable amount of Primogems in Version 5.0. Given that Mavuika in Genshin Impact will only make her playable debut in Version 5.3, this provides the community with some wiggle room to save their funds for the Pyro Archon.
