Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the lineup of banner characters for Version 6.0, which will include a Sumeru Chronicled Banner alongside its expected slate of Event Banners. While the Prologue for Song of the Welkin Moon is already featured in Version 5.8, Genshin Impact players are about to enter Nod-Krai proper on September 10. Much like Version 5.0, the first update in the Nod-Krai era will introduce three new characters to the playable roster: Lauma, Flins, and Aino. Much like Kachina, players will also be able to claim a copy of Aino upon commencing their adventure in the new region.
However, from a gameplay standpoint, there are a few considerations to be made. For Genshin Impact players who already own Ineffa, Flins is by far and away one of her best teammates as a dedicated Lunar-Charged hypercarry. The bulk of his damage comes from his Normal Attacks, making him especially synergistic with Yelan. On the other hand, Lauma brings Lunar-Bloom to the table, capable of either being a strong support for Dendro teams in Genshin Impact or dishing out respectable numbers with Lunar-Bloom herself. This makes her synergistic with characters such as Nahida, Neuvillette, and Nilou. Lastly, while Aino does not introduce a new Lunar Reaction, she is an off-field Hydro 4-Star capable of buffing Lunar Reactions across the team.

In the wake of its Special Program Announcement for Luna I, Genshin Impact has confirmed the Event Banners for Version 6.0. Barbara, Kuki Shinobu, and Kaveh will accompany Nahida and Lauma in the first half. Conversely, the second half will see Aino, Sucrose, and Dori join Flins and Yelan as the featured characters. Given that Version 6.0 aligns with the fifth anniversary of Genshin Impact, players will also be able to select a free 5-Star from the Standard Banner.
Furthermore, Version 6.0 will introduce a Sumeru Chronicled Banner to Genshin Impact, allowing players to pull for the following 5-Stars: Tighnari, Nilou, Cyno, Wanderer, Alhaitham, and Dehya. However, the real value of the Chronicled Banner may well be its assortment of Signature Weapons, as Hunter's Path, Beacon of the Reed Sea, and Light of Foliar Incision are all powerful choices for multiple characters.
Ultimately, Version 6.0 has plenty of value, as many of its 5-Star characters synergize with each other. Both Version 5.8 and Version 6.0 allow players to stock up considerably on their Primogems, with Nod-Krai's debut granting 120 Intertwined Wishes to free-to-play accounts. However, with Genshin Impact characters such as Varka, Alice, and Columbina on the way, it may be best for players to consider their pulling plans carefully as they enter Nod-Krai. Version 6.0 is set to launch on September 10.
