Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the banner characters for Version 6.1, featuring a strong lineup of Nefer, Furina, Arlecchino, and Zhongli. Version 6.1 is set to introduce the Miliastra Wonderland, a sandbox mode that will allow Genshin Impact players to create, share, and play custom minigames with the rest of the community. However, it will also see the debut of Nefer, and the continuation of the Archon Quest for Nod-Krai.
From a gameplay standpoint, players can expect to see a competitive Dendro hypercarry with Nefer in Genshin Impact. While her potential is deeply tied to Lauma, Nefer's other teammates are highly flexible, with Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Aino, and Baizhu being notable candidates. The bulk of her damage comes from Nefer's enhanced Charged Attacks, strengthened by converting available Dendro Cores on the field into Seeds of Deceit.

As revealed during the latest developer livestream for Genshin Impact, the Event Banners for Version 6.1 will be Nefer and Furina in the first half, and Arlecchino and Zhongli in the second half. The Weapon Banner for Nefer and Furina will especially be stacked, as their Signature Weapons will be accompanied by a new set of Nod-Krai 4-Stars. In terms of value, players who have chosen not to pursue Lauma will likely benefit the most from obtaining a copy of Furina. Despite Lunar Reactions focusing on Elemental Mastery, Furina remains one of the best Support characters in Genshin Impact.
On the other hand, Arlecchino in Genshin Impact remains a powerful hypercarry in her own right, especially for fans who enjoy her playstyle. Lastly, Zhongli is the epitome of a comfort pick, outclassed by other characters in the majority of premium teams (such as Xilonen), but never outclassed in the category of Shield Supports. The featured 4-Star characters in Version 6.1 are unknown, but datamining has revealed that Lan Yan, Yun Jin, and Rosaria will appear on the banners in one of the halves.
Considering the slate of upcoming 5-Star characters, perhaps the wisest move for Version 6.1 may be to skip the Event Banners and stock up on Primogems in Genshin Impact. According to several sources, Durin is expected to make his playable debut in Version 6.2 as a Pyro Support, while Columbina will join the roster in Version 6.3 as a Hydro Support. Version 6.1 is expected to launch on October 22, and will run until December 3.
