The Waterborne Poetry is a Genshin Impact event in which players have to participate in the spirit of friendship and poetry sharing. The Poetry Gala is jointly hosted by representatives from both Liyue and Mondstadt. It is co-hosted by the Genshin Impact Mondstadt Archon, Venti, and the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Hu Tao.
During the Waterborne Poetry, travelers have to complete three games; Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites, Inspiration Eruption, and Mending Painting Prospects. Completing the games will reward players with 990 Primogems, Crown of Insight, and the Ballad of the Boundless Blue weapon plus its refine materials. Moreover, in certain parts of the event, players can find hidden Easter eggs featuring characters such as Xiao, Venti, and Hu Tao. Waterborne Poetry Character Locations In Genshin Impact
After the Waterborne Poetry event, players can locate the following NPCs and characters in Genshin Impact:
- Venti.
- Callirhoe singing voice.
- Hu Tao.
- Xiao.
- Old Finch.
It's also worth noting that during the Waterborne Poetry: Part I, II, and III, travelers can get a bonus interaction with some of the participating characters, such as:
- Venti and Hu Tao at Wangshu Inn.
- Noelle and Mika at Stone Gate.
- Diona at Stone Gate.
- Xingqiu and Chongyun at Stone Gate.
Venti's Location
After the Waterborne Poetry: Part I event, players can have a chat with Venti in Genshin Impact. The Mondstadt Archon is located southwest of the Stone Gate Waypoint.
Callirhoe's Singing Voice's Location
Teleport to Springvale southern Waypoint and head south to the edge of the cliff to listen to Callirhoe singing a happy melody. The voice can only be heard after completing the Waterborne Poetry: Part III event.
Hu Tao's Location
After completing the Heart of the Deep quest in Genshin Impact, players can witness Jifan and Hu Tao's discussion north of the Liyue Toy Shop. During the Waterborne Poetry: Part I event, travelers can also interact with Hu Tao and Venti at the Wangshu Inn.
Xiao's Location
North of the eastern Lisha fast-travel Waypoint, players will find Xiao standing on a small cliff.
After a small conversation with the Anemo Adepti, go west toward the offering shed and ask Wang Ping’an for a few sticks then offer the Fine Incense at the offering table. At the same table, players will find Xiao’s poem, which he wrote to his fellow Yakshas. If players haven't fixed the temple yet, the poem can still be found, but not on the table.
Old Finch's Location
During the Waterborne Poetry, Old Finch can be found in two different locations:
- West of the Springvale Southern Waypoint (During the Waterborne Poetry: Part III).
- Southeast of the northern Springvale Waypoint (Before and after the Waterborne Poetry: Part III).
Travelers should adjust the time to the daytime if they are unable to find Old Finch at the mentioned locations in Genshin Impact. Doing so requires players to adjust the in-game time clock until the grandpa appears.
