Aside from the picturesque landscapes and never-ending terrains, the world of Teyvat in Genshin Impact is overflowing with content that players can look out for. Trapped behind the Paimon screen and Archive menu, the Geography tab consists of a variety of landscapes that can be saved if players find any of them through exploration. Since the release of the first patch, these geographical landmarks have been called Viewpoints, and Mondstadt currently has 10 of them.
As these Genshin Impact locations are hyper-specific, it’s easy for players to miss out on some of them and have trouble unlocking the blacked-out space in the Geography tab. Players will indeed have to interact with each Viewpoint to add it to the Geography Archive and completely explore the map.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 1: City of Wind
The first Viewpoint is easy to spot once players enter the world of Teyvat. Situated a little ways outside the City of Mondstadt, this Viewpoint can be found at the tip of a cliff south of Starfell Lake in the Whispering Woods.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 2: The Marsh of Celestial Guardians
This Viewpoint can be easily spotted on the highest cliff south of Starfell Lake.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 3: Ancient Thousand Winds Temple
Players can teleport to the Midsummer Courtyard Domain at Starsnatch Cliff and head east towards the Thousand Winds Temple. At the northernmost part of the ruins, the Viewpoint can be found on a platform.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 4: Forgotten Sword Cemetery
Players will immediately locate this Viewpoint as it is placed right in front of the Teleport Waypoint in the Dadaupa Gorge in Galesong Hill.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 5: Land of Clear Springs
Travelers can teleport to the waypoint in Springvale and will immediately be able to locate the Viewpoint as it is right across the road on a small cliff.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 6: Manor of Daybreak
This Viewpoint gives players a snapshot of the Vineyard owned by Diluc. If players teleport to the Statue of Seven, they should head west and drop to a cliff that overlooks the Dawn Winery to claim this Viewpoint.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 7: Abandoned Capital of Howling Winds
This Viewpoint entails a snapshot of Stormterror’s Lair and the destruction of Old Mondstadt. Situated on a cliff at Brightcrown Canyon, players can teleport to the respective waypoint and head northwest to find it.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 8: Favonius Cathedral
Easy to spot, this Viewpoint can be found inside the Favonius Cathedral at Mondstadt City.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 9: Knights of Favonius- Library
Players can climb to the second floor of the Library in Mondstadt and find the Viewpoint in a corner overlooking the space below.
Mondstadt Viewpoint No. 10: Windswept Wilderness
Once exiting the City of Mondstadt, players will find this Viewpoint by the road overlooking the sub-region Windrise. Once all the Viewpoints are collected, players can enter the Geography Archive to double-check if all have been correctly achieved.
