A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the sales difference between the two currently featured five-star characters: Natlan's Geo user, Xilonen, and the Anemo Archon, Venti. As usual, Genshin Impact's updates are divided into two banner cycles, each featuring two limited five-star characters and a shared four-star lineup consisting of three playable units.
Since Natlan's arrival, every update has included at least one new five-star unit, with the Electro user Varesa being the most recent addition. Varesa and her teacher, Iansan, were both featured in the first banner cycle, meaning the second cycle was reserved for rerun banners. Genshin Impact has continued its pattern of featuring one Archon in every subsequent update following the arrival of a new major region.

A credible Genshin Impact stats website, Paimon.moe, has revealed a chart showing the sales difference between the two currently featured five-star units in the second phase of update 5.6: Xilonen and Venti. According to the data, Xilonen is responsible for around 87% of the banner revenue, marking one of the biggest sales discrepancies in Genshin Impact's history. This is not a huge surprise, considering that Xilonen is widely regarded as one of the best characters released in recent months. Many consider her the overall best support character introduced during Genshin Impact's Natlan arc. Even though the popularity of Geo characters in the game has been steadily declining, Xilonen has managed to secure a place in many players' main team compositions thanks to a versatile kit that fits into various party types.
Genshin Impact: Should You Pull for Venti or Xilonen?
Similar to Kaedehara Kazuha, who is widely regarded as one of the best flex supports in the game, Xilonen can provide team-wide buffs, shred enemy resistances, and deal significant elemental damage. Unlike Kazuha, she also offers better mobility and can grant a powerful buff to her Genshin Impact party members.
There are likely several reasons why players didn't spend their Primogems on Venti, with one of the main ones being that many already have him on their roster, as he is one of the oldest characters in Genshin Impact. As the Archon of Genshin Impact's first major region, Venti was part of the game's initial release back in 2020. Since then, Genshin Impact has introduced many powerful playable units who can provide stronger on-field support, including Xilonen.
Venti is still considered an A or B-tier character and remains a great choice for players who frequently battle groups of smaller enemies, thanks to his Elemental Burst's strong crowd control capabilities. Venti was the only Archon who had not yet been featured on a banner since version 5.0, and many fans suspected that HoYoverse would not be featuring an Archon again anytime soon. Genshin Impact's recent Special Program event, however, confirmed that the next update will bring back Inazuma's Raiden Shogun.
