Yun Jin alongside Shenhe can be considered a new generation of damage buffers in Genshin Impact. Their role is niche but useful if used correctly. Where Shenhe fails to shine, Yun Jin showcases full potential on her C0. However, she's highly reliant on her Burst, so when building Yun Jin in Genshin Impact, players are recommended to use a weapon with Energy Recharge sub-stat since there are no Polearms with DEF subs.

Yun Jin buffs her team's Normal Attacks when using her Elemental Burst. It is an important boost to many main DPS characters that rely on their Normal attacks, such as Yoimiya, Ningguang, Childe, and Eula.

Are Yun Jin's Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

Yun Jin can be a reliable Genshin Impact buffer at C0, but her constellations will certainly make her a better support. For players that are pulling for Yun Jin, it is recommended to reach at least C2 to unlock most of what her constellations can offer.

C1 - Thespian Gallop

Constellation effect: Elemental Skill's CD is decreased by 18% (From 9s to 7.4s).
Importance: Low

Yun Jin's Elemental Skill is important for her DPS value in the team, but not her supportive role. As she will spend most of the battle off-field buffing her allies, C1 Yun Jin won't do much to the team's overall performance.

C2 - Myriad Mise-En-Scène

Constellation effect: After Elemental Burst is unleashed, all nearby party members' Normal Attack DMG is increased by 15% for 12s.
Importance: Priority

C2 will further buff her team's Normal Attack. Indirectly, this effect will also increase the damage bonus Yun Jin grants to the team. Among the six constellations, C2 is the most crucial one to have.

C4 - Flower and a Fighter

Constellation effect: When Yun Jin triggers the Crystallize Reaction, her DEF is increased by 20% for 12s.
Importance: High

As a Geo Support, Yun Jin can trigger the Crystallize Reaction easily in fights. Considering her Elemental Skill's CD is less than 8s long, the 20% DEF buff can have a 100% up-time with Yun Jin.

C6 - Decorous Harmony

Constellation effect: Characters under the buffs of Yun Jin's Elemental Burst have their Normal ATK SPD increased by 12%.
Importance: Priority

Yun Jin's sixth constellation is the cherry on top for her kit. C6 Yun Jin will buff her team's ATK SPD as long as they're buffed by her Elemental Burst (so it'll be boosted for 30 procs).

In conclusion, Yun Jin is highly viable as a Normal Attack buffer even at C0. However, her C2 and C6 can significantly increase her supportive performance. This Opera Artist is also best utilized in a team that consists of different elements, so she'll make a great pair with any Vision holders. However, even so, players are highly recommended to use double Geo in the party to trigger the Geo Resonance.
