Zhongli's ascension materials consist of some older Genshin Impact enemies. With the release of Inazuma, the abundance of available Genshin Impact bosses may be overwhelming to many. Luckily, when it comes to the Geo Archon, the resources players need are all pretty basic. All of Zhongli's ascension materials can be farmed in Liyue.

Not only items for his ascension, but players would also want to prepare enough materials to level-up Zhongli's talents. This article provides a summary of all the things needed for Zhongli.

Usually, a support can be left at the fifth ascension. But for Zhongli, players are highly recommended to go all the way to the sixth stage (maximum ascension). To get him this far, players will have to collect:

Gemstones - Where to Find Prithiva Topaz

There aren't many bosses in Genshin Impact that reward Prithiva Topaz. Luckily, players would be farming the Geo Hypostasis anyway, so getting these stones should be trivial.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Slime Drops

Slime is one of the most common mobs in Genshin Impact. Players can easily find them in areas that contain high Elemental energy, as this creature feeds off it. This enemy is scattered all over Teyvat, but one of the most notable spots would be the beach northeast of Liyue Harbor, where many Hydro Slimes are enjoying the shore.

Basalt Pillar is farmable from the Geo Hypostasis. This enemy can be found in Guyun Stone Forest, Liyue.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Cor Lapis

Among the many ores available in Liyue, Cor Lapis is the material needed to upgrade Zhongli. Here are a few sources for this local specialty:

Mt. Hulao of Jueyun Karst
Northeast of Tianqiu Valley
Sal Terrae's underwater cave
Changshun of Liyue Harbor (NPC near Linlang's Antique Shop) sells five Cor Lapis for 1,500 Mora each. She restocks every three days.

Zhongli's Talent Level-Up Materials In Genshin Impact

The best shielder in Genshin Impact, Zhongli, relies heavily on his Hold-Skill, Dominus Lapidis. The skill allows him to create a shield that lasts for 20 seconds and is almost unbreakable. This ability is Zhongli's key feature, so it's recommended to upgrade it to level 10 (maximum level).

Meanwhile, his Elemental Burst can deal decent damage while providing great CC. Players can either keep it at level 8 or go all-in to 10. Lastly, because Zhongli barely takes field time from his team, his Normal attacks aren’t needed. So Travelers should keep it at level 1.

Talent Books - Gold

To get Zhongli's talent level-up materials, players have to wait for Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Just like other Liyue characters, the Gold book can be obtained from the Taishan Mansion.

Trounce Materials - Tusk of Monoceros Caeli

In Genshin Impact 1.1, Zhongli's Archon Quest was released. Near the end, players will face Tartaglia, the eleventh of the eleven Fatui Harbingers. So it's only natural that Zhongli requires Childe's boss drop for his talents.
