The 20th Anniversary Event for World of Warcraft brings back some of the two-decade-old MMO's most iconic characters, who players can interact with to learn about what they think of the event or what they've been up to since we last saw them. Arguably one of the most well-known characters in World of Warcraft is the Night Elf Mohawk, an NPC stand-in for Mr. T after a "What's Your Game?" WoW ad aired featuring the celebrity.

Mr. T's Night Elf Mohawk comes back in the WoW 20th Anniversary celebration, and so too do his Mohawk grenades. These items haven't been obtainable in the game since the Wrath of the Lich King days, and to get this unique item that turns other players into Night Elf Mohawks, you will need to head to the WoW 20th Anniversary event grounds.

Night Elf Mohawk Finally Returns For WoW's 20th Anniversary

There are some who do not believe in the legendary Night Elf Mohawks.

I pity the fools.

In the central tent in the WoW 20th Anniversary event, you will find the Night Elf Mohawk himself leaning against a pillar just behind Bobadormu, the Classic Timewalking vendor. He looks as menacing as ever, maybe because he pities the player, but more likely because he's still mad that in 20 years we still haven't received a Mohawk class. If you talk to him, he will say that there are some who do not believe in his kind, and that he has sympathy for such simpletons.

But just like when the original World of Warcraft ad featuring Mr. T launched, players can take on the visage of the Night Elf Mohawk appearance with the returning Mohawk Grenade item.

Indeed, Mohawk Grenades are finally back, and they work just like they used to. When you use this Consumable item, a targeting reticle will appear on the ground on your mouse cursor. Aim it at a group of players and let fly to transform every player's head to that of the Night Elf Mohawk.

All Titles In WoW 20th Anniversary Event (& How To Get Them)

World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary event brings several new exclusive titles for players to earn throughout the celebration.

This effect lasts for one hour, or until dispelled from your active Buff bar – but what kind of fool wouldn't want to be Mr. T for an hour?

How To Get Mohawk Grenades In WoW 20th Anniversary Event

WoW 20th Anniversary Event Mohawk Grenades Night Elf Mohawk Grenade Vendor Bobadormu Timewarped Badge

To get Mohawk Grenades, WoW players must head to the new Caverns of Time Anniversary Event grounds and speak to Bobadormu. Bobadormu is found right next to the Night Elf Mohawk himself in the central tent. If you walk into the tent from the Caverns of Time Portal spawn location, both the Night Elf Mohawk and Bobadormu will be located on your right, on the northeast side of the tent.

Bobadormu does not use the new Bronze Celebration Token currency, instead he offers items in exchange for Timewarped Badges. Bobadormu has a huge stock of Classic items, like Transmog and Reputations, as well as returning fan-favorite items from Azeroth's past.

You can earn Timewarped Badges easily by participating in the new Classic Timewalking dungeons, completing the Weekly Timewalking quest, and by completing the Quiz in the 20th Anniversary Event for 5x each day.

The Mohawk Grenade can be found on the first tab of his inventory on the left side. They are sold in stacks of 25 for 200 Timewarped Badges total. These count as Unique Consumable items, and you can only carry up to 25 on your character at any one time.

When the 20th Anniversary Event is over, these items will likely not be purchasable again for quite some time – at least until the next Anniversary event or Classic Timewalking period – so be careful not to waste them!
