In true RPG fashion, Ghost of Tsushima promises its players more than their fair share of upgradable pieces of gear. These include Jin’s armor sets, katana and tanto, two types of bows, and various projectile weapons.

All of these items can only be upgraded and enhanced if Jin has the necessary supplies and upgrade materials for them. And while the game does throw plenty of these materials at players at every turn, it will still not be enough to upgrade every single item in the game before entering New Game Plus. This is by design. The developers want players to reinvest their time into the game in NG+. But for players who don’t want to do that or simply want to 100% the game faster, there are ways to make the grind take less time.

Ghost of Tsushima: How to Uncover the Map

In Ghost of Tsushima, there is a way to lift the fog of war from the entire map and highlight every point of interest. Here’s how.

Bandit Camp Exploit - Infinite Supplies Farm

Directly west of the Golden Temple in Act 1, roughly 230m away, is a large house that has been overtaken by the Mongols. The house lies directly between the Golden Temple and the river separating the next prefecture. There is an infinitely renewable source of Linen here that can be converted into Supplies. Here’s how to get it.

  1. Defeat all Mongols in the area.
  2. Look for an outhouse/storage building at the back of the main house, elevated above ground level (shown in the video above).
  3. Enter the building and look for two pieces of Linen next to each other on one of the shelves. Pick them up.

  4. Open the pause menu and click on Restart from a Previous Checkpoint.
  5. Jin will appear directly in front of the outhouse.
  6. Re-enter the building, and you’ll find 2 Linen again.
  7. Repeat.

Each time you loot the 2 Linens sitting on the shelves and restart the game, the two Linens are added to the inventory and two more spawn on the shelf again in an infinite loop.

selling to a trapper in ghost of tsushima-1

Gather as much Linen as you can carry and fast-travel to a Trapper to sell them for 15 supplies each. Gathering 100 Linen roughly takes about five minutes, which means that players can get 1500 Supplies every five minutes.

The limit to how much Linen players can carry at one time is 500, which means players will need to spend about 25-30 minutes to complete a single run that nets exactly 7500 supplies.

And since this method is repeatable, there is no limit to how many supplies can be obtained in this way.

Equipping the Charm of Inari increases the amount of supplies, predator hides, bamboo, and yew wood players get every time they loot them. It is a great way to passively increase your supplies during regular gameplay.
