Following a short prologue, the main story of Ghost of Yotei takes place over three chapters. Each chapter is broken up into a series of missions, although the first chapter is significantly longer and has more missions than the other two Ghost of Yotei chapters combined.

There are 23 main story missions in total. In Chapter 1, players will have a bit of freedom when it comes to the order in which they take on certain missions, although we've opted to list the Oni's missions before the Kitsune's based on their order in the game's trophy list.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Ghost of Yotei?

I finished the main story of Ghost of Yotei in around 16 hours, although that included a fairly significant amount of side content. Had I opted to focus solely on the main story, I could have probably shaved around four or five hours off of that time, if not more. However, much like its predecessor, Ghost of Yotei is one of those games where you're constantly being bombarded with side content, whether you're looking for it or not, so sticking exclusively to the main story is a lot easier said than done. That said, I still had plenty of stuff left to do when I rolled credits, and there are a few post-game quests as well, so you're definitely getting your money's worth here.
